I was smoked by a minivan...
On firday night, I was out driving to an impromtu car meet, and i was at a light, and in my car was me and my buddy. A older dodge caravan pulled up next to us. An older gentleman was driving, with what appeared to be children in the back. So being the jackasses we are I revved my engine at him. He didnt even look over or anything. So i rev again, and the light turns green. So i watch him take off slow and normal. Then at 40 mph he just nails it and lies by me. I drop into second, and proceeded to be raped by his 5 doors of fury. At the time i also had half my interior out and my muffler off. Which is only minimal gain but still. IT WAS A MINIVAN. I just wanna say i give major props to this guy, and he has further encouraged me to buy a turbo.

Rep Power: 338 this event should NOT come as a surprise. THe Civic is 1 of the slowest new vehicles available. When I had my Civic, I was 100% sure my mom's Honda Odyssey would win in a drag race.

Yeah, why rev on anyone, especially a minivan. You got what you deserved. Really, 7th gens are ridiculously slow. Wish I had known this when I bought this car. At that point, I needed a new car in a bad way, picked mine up a year an half old with 25k miles on it. I got a good deal, but I kinda wish I had looked harder at Subarus and other imports. I'm not going to turbo my car, just do exhaust eventually. I'm more interested in suspension mods. Corners are one place a civic could definitely beat just about any minivan, if the civic had the proper suspensions mods.

Rep Power: 239 lol, well i didnt think there would be all this anger, just tryin for a few laughs, but to the guy who asked i would have bragged, i want him to know i wouldnt have bragged even if i beat a kenne bell mustang, it wasn't a "race", it was just me being an ******* on a friday night, me and my friend do this kind of **** for laughs. I just thought ppl would laugh at the idea that i lost to a minivan.And for the record, removing spare tire, rear seat, carpeting, rear panels, and rear speakers= weight loss= slightly quicker car, but all that **** is back in i just took it out so i could remove my 6x9s, and yeah the muffler is back on to, it was so ppl could actually hear em revving.
