mark a few wins for the boosted 04
SO i finially have my car tuned and running nice on 8.8lbs........I havent gotten it dynoed yet but my guess is about 180 whp or so how it sits and the clutch is starting to slip when i bang 2nd.
First kill was a double kill. Both cars were 1.8T...one a 04 jetta and the other a A4...both had a apr chip and 3" exhausts and intakes. We started at about 45 ish in 2nd. It was pretty even threw 2nd and half way threw 3rd. I ended up pulling about a car on the jetta and 2 cars on the a4 by then end of third.
Next kill is my favorite so far...Some guy in a older forumal firebird got up next to me and kinda looked over..This guy was your classic muscle car owner...this was a prolly a 50mph roll in 2nd at about 6000...i planted it and had to shift real fast i got a little jump on him but i still pulled about 3 cars threw 3rd and half of 4th. The car sounded really mean i dont know what was done to it but he caught back up to me and just said that ***** fast and just gave me the
Last kill is a cobalt ss. Same style roll race as jetta and audi and about the same outcome. The kid was pretty cocky and said he would deff get me down low. We did 2 digs and both times we stayed even 1st 2nd and half way threw 3rd i would start slowly pullin away. It really gave me a decent idea of what kind of times I should be running. I think the car is about as fast as last years 14.3 on a 75 shot.
Ill try to get some pics and vids up as soon as i find some time.

about the firebired formula...what year was it?? because if you barely beat a cobalt ss...then that firebird is the tpi engine or the driver sucked! also was it a cobalt ss or a supercharged one?(i assume it is the supercharged one). anyways nice kills!

Supercharged Cobalt weights more than Civic and S/C "eats" power.
So I think Cobalt definately bytes the dust.
I think it was 80s Firebird.
Good kills!
Happy to hear you runnig well now.
