My first kills with the Cayenne S
The other night me and a couple buddies were hanging out and they wanted to see how the new car stacks up against theirs. One drives a 2004 Cadillac Escalade EXT. The Porsche walked away from that thing like it was standing still. The other drives a 2005 Range Rover. The Porsche took it but not as badly. I'd say by maybe a car length to two car lengths. No doubt in my mind it'd leave that Range Rover behind on a winding road though, I drove his truck and its not quite as balanced...
Not that SUV's were made for racing, but I think the designers at Porsche were the only ones who had a sporting flair in mind when they were designing the Cayenne.
Haha just thought I'd share. I'm gonna let my buddy drive the Porsche and I'll race my own truck with my S2K and see how it turns out. I'm quite sure the S2K will come out on top, but I wanna see the result given the huge torque the 4.5 V8 makes.
Will keep the board posted

Oh no doubt about that, but when you're talking SUV's nothing gets closer to sports car dynamics....well in my experience...unless you're talking about the 100k Cayenne Turbo and S Turbo...
Nice job...Im pretty sure the Escalade has the same 6L that my Denali has. I've taken plenty of ricers (cavaliers and such) in it...and it pulls really hard on the highway, but its just so damn heavy....
My SL65 rim, because a rim is all I can afford

sell houses in Vegas. Vegas has one the highest property values increase rates in the US. Houses have nearly doubled in price in the last 2 years, so you buy a few, rent them out for 2 years while the tenants pay your morgage, then sell the house for a huge profit.
Did you trade the RX-8 in?

heh...yeah I had the RX-8 for just under 2 years and I traded it in.
And yes, I am very good at what I do here in Vegas, and I get paid accordingly. So...if anyone needs any type of property in Vegas, just let me know...

Yes I am a Realtor in Las Vegas. I'm actually thinking about getting my license out there in cali, so hey I bet we could do some business together.
I am very thankful for what I have though. I mean just 5 years ago I was still living with my parents and driving a civic. I've worked hard to get where I am now and am greatful for it.
Sure we could trade lives though. I miss the simple days sometimes. Before I had so much responsibility...
But yeah the Cayenne Turbo is fast, and even faster is the even more tweaked S Turbo. I just don't know if I'd spend 100 grand on an SUV or even a car for that matter. I mean I love exotics too, but 100 grand is too much for a depreciating asset.

I also have an associates in criminal justice. A college degree is very useful and helps alot, but in my experience street smarts are what gets things done.

You really need both to go any where today. Used to be just street smart could take you along way, but today you really need an education too. I got the education part down I think, but the street smarts I'm still working on...

yea real estate is where its at. without it my parents, that have been making 45g's a yr BEFORE tax for that last 18 years at the SAME JOB, would not be able to have our 600,000 house payed off along with 2 cars payed off, a house already sold, and another house we are currently renting out. hopefully they will continue and i can help them out w/ this and get a cut in a couple of years or so.

hummm..... I remember reading an article about 5 or 6 months ago where Alan Greenspan also mentioned how he was worried he was going to leave with this "cheap money" as he called for long term loans. He was worried because interest rates on mortgages was not going up and the trend of people who where getting house they couldn't afford was going up, so they raised the interest rate (as we all know) a few times, but mortgage companies did not follow suite as normal and kept rates low. This means that there are to many people that are now building a huge amount of debt that can never pay it off, and they only keep sinking, so eventually the banks will for close on them, and... well you get the idea.
In short I would not call Alan Greenspan uneducated, in fact I would call him one of the few financial genius in the world. If he says there is a bubble, I believe him. It's the job of banks to make sure it doesn't pop, but rather slowly deflates not causing a market crash. I don’t think it is going to come crashing down or anything, but it will slow from its current pace, eventually IMO.
