dunno, all I heard was a bov and exhaust but I didnt talk to him, when I came back to start line after racing the wrx the dodge neon was lined up and people were saying, " line up, line up". So I just lined up and raced, after the race the srt just made a right and went somewhere else while I went back to the start line. Didnt get a chance to ask him what mods..

hehe yeah, I dont care though, stock he has about 220-230 whp while I was dynod at 170-180 whp. thats like 50 whp advantage. it didnt leave me in the dust though..
hopefully when I get my pulley set, super 60, el manifold installed with a new and better tune I will go up against that wrx again.. he sucked for what he had

found a 97-01 prelude. He was modded so I tried racing him. I had 2 other people in my car, about another 300+ lbs. We went front a launch, he had me by a car by 3rd.. stopped and pulled over, talked and told him I had a sohc that was keeping up with him. He couldnt hear my bov cuz his car is so damn loud. So I dropped the two people in my car off to watch, I was gonna tell them to film but I had left the camera at home. So we went from a stop again, I had him about a car length by end of 4th(120 for me). Then he was suprised asking what I had, I told him turbo kit 8psi stock motor, he said not bad. I told him one more race, but from a roll this time. Raced him in 2nd gear going 30, left him a good bus length behind..pulled over again after the roll run, n he says dang you left me from a roll, but he said he would take me from a quarter mile, sure he will if I have 2 other people in my car... still a good run too bad I didnt get it on camera for you members...

So anyone here debating on whether your turbo d17 will take h22, I took it at 170whp.. if it was in a hatch, I would prolly lose due to weight advantage though.

His mods: i/h/e/straight pipe(nocat), pulleys. and some carbon fiber goodies for hood. His car was 5spd...

I found out what he had, I had met another srt(stock), and I told him about the srt I raced, Its a small town down here so he knew the guy. He told me the guy had stage 1, exhaust, and intake. Forget what else, but he did tell me he raced that srt as well and the modded one gets about 4 car lengths so thats about right. I asked what stage one was he told me an ecu and larger injectors. Different map/?? sensor.
I think I wouldve been close if the srt was stock..

you raced the worst drivers in the world

an srt4 will SPANK you, especially if modded. a good driver will run around 13.8-13.9 bone stock ... you are not anywhere near that with 170-180 whp.

same goes with a modded wrx ... he should be able to leave you in the dust at his launch with a good driver

it's good the races were pretty close though. I remember my days with the turbo...
