S2000 vs SRT4
I am proudly posting the first kills that my fiancee actually got while driving my S2000. I wasn't there, but am merely repeating the story she told me.
//side note: we have switched cars for driving to/from work since I work much further from home and her car (an 05 corolla) gets much better gas mileage.//
While at a gas station the other day on the way home, my fiancee said she had 2 guys in a neon SRT4 checking her out in the gas station. They then, of course were checking out the S2000 as she was getting in. She left the gas station and they ended up pulling out behind her.
She got stopped at the light before the freeway, and the guys in the SRT4 pulled up next to her and started revving. She looked over and the one guy was giving her this smile and acting all "pimp-wannabe" according to her. lol.
She waited for the light, and then they took off on green. She put a few cars on him and then moved over to make her freeway onramp.
hehe, nothin sexier than a hot chick racing in a nice car.

good kill.
good kill.Either way, streets races are always very subjective. Anything can happen I suppose.
Every other time I've heard or seen a competition of E36 M vs. S2Kizzle, the M always comes out on top. Certainly not by a long shot or anything in that regard, but it does none the less.
I was at a near by track (not drag stip) a couple of years ago doing some easy runs in a Porsche 944 my dad used to have and there were 4 S2000 and 2 E36 M3's. According to the track supervisor, Both E36 M3's, one modded and one stock, were pulling in faster lap times than all 4 S2k's.
Obviously our 944 was no match for either of them
But, it was fun running around the course with all of those cars.

I never had a problem with E36's when I was stock, but I also could run consistent 13's stock. However, I knew the potential of the E36 was there, so I know the difference was the driver.long story short, it's a driver's race between the two in a straight line.

You're right. I never meant to make the S2kizzle sound slower than it is. I'm going to say that E36 M3, S2Kizzle, and 350Z (blah) are all on par with eachother.
I like the first two very much.
*Edit*
Both me and my father were taking turns running through the track in our Porsche. It was fun.
When we had it, we took it to a couple of auto-x's aswell.

He had a K24 block with a K20A2 head. I believe he had ITR cams and manifold. He made 230hp on a dynapack, which would translate into around 207whp on a dynojet. Irregardless he has a lightweight Civic with good power and would match up well against SRT-4s.

jk.and track is so much fun. i got to run a very small go-kart elevation changing track last year, and it was a blast in the S2000. such a tight track, you never get over 80.
