track sucked

so i get there, i ran on my 17's 225/45 azenis. i had a really good launch, but i spun all the way threw 2nd, then got grip in 3rd

My number is 3550

i got a 14.1

then i tossed on my slicks, i couldn't light up my tires

13.9

again against a evo. so much crap on the track, no traction again...

14.3

the track sucks, there was no traction. it was a waste of time today... so much freaking rubber on the track... horrible track conditions. i left at 3. i went to the UCLA vs ASU game...

well, time to rip this bitch out, more power!

what were your trap speeds? 1/8 mile times and speeds?

a 2.25 60' is pretty damn good on street tires for a FWD car, so I'm not sure what you are thinking is bad traction. ??

I agree ... 2.25 is a very good launch on street tires.

what was your tire pressure?

tire pressure was 35, i spun ALL of second gear.

slicks were 15psi

for some reason, the time and date on the slips are wrong...

what color was the evo you ran. my old neighbor was there with his blck evo and another friend with a silver STI. they should have been close to eachother in the starting line. the black EVO would have had some silver Rays Wheels and the Silver Evo should of had some Bronze GN+'s. i hope to god it was the black one that ran that 14.5 time because he used to have a 95 GSX that ran 11's untuned and has recently bought the EVO. he has turned into this little shyt head in the past year and i have known him for 10yrs. but now he is high and mighty and too good for all of his old friends. that i swhy i hope it was him and you whooped his **** so i can throw it in his face for the rest of his life. if not oh well

how black evo's do you think were there??? was it littlt short asian guy??? just wondering becasue i would love to rub it in his face that he ghot his *** handed to him by a civic. he always talks smack on mine like he is soo high and mighty because he drives a evo. i try to tell him its still just a lancer. there really isnt a quality difference in the cars just the performance. a lancer and a civic are the same category of cars. there should have been a silver STI around him somewhere and their numbers were sequential. it may just be him because 1570 sounds like his number and i think the STI was 1569 if i am not trippin.

the name of the guy he ran was reno. He's cool, not the smack talking type.

BTW the second slip was against me #6639. I cut a decent light on him and won by a tenth of a second with a slower time. All hail the mighty d17 you know I had to mention it temo.

My bottle heater is not working so I could not get lower than a 14.2 on the juice. but ran another 15.5 all motor.

well that sucks that it wasnt him but oh well. i kinda figured it wasnt because he is pretty good at getting the car down the track. like i said his previous car was a 95 gsx running 11's before his the new intake mani and completely untuned. so to get that car down the track at that time i would hope he could get his evo down the track a lot faster that a 14.5. well DJMOTA i am hoping ot be knocking on your doors here pretty soon. my exhead is on its way to me and the t/b and intake mani are included. i think i am going to try to get a d16 intake mani to fab up on the new head before install. ill be running almost the same set up as your self consisting of PnP head 3 angle valve job crower stg2 cam and springs/retainers bored t/b hopefully a d16 intake mani cam gear and emanage all completely tuned of course. alnog with my other mods i should be right next to you and i am hoping maybe a lil faster. but who knows. i want a low 15 with this set up and possibly spray into the 13's if all goes as planned.
