1st-30mph
2nd-60mph
3rd-I usually shift around 80, but i think hit the limiter at 85
After that I dont know, but if you race someone past that, I hope our on a long stretch of road. A very long stretch of road, cause its going to take a while to get that fast.

lol ^ u dont need a tach. Most races end in 3rd anyways so just shift at 60 to 3rd and pray to the non vtec gods. Half the races on the street i did was without a tach. Learn ur car.

I am not sure on the exact #s but 1st and 2nd redline at alot higher speeds (I think second is around 60). Third is ~83, fourth is ~115 and fifth has taken me to around 130.

Because we drive a Civic, not a Porsche. Why would Honda think we would need to go over 100? lol

Your correct about all speeds, but they are even more innacurate at the higher rates of triple digits. With other cars though such as high end cars like porsches and ferraries (sp lol), they have built in devices which can account for corrections. You should do a seach on the "yellow box." Ricks S2K sells them and they can help correct inaccuracies in your spedometer.

I have a dx, so mine too came without a tach, I installed a faze tach where my rearview mirror used to be! but for some reason the tach will increase till 5000 rpm, but i still make power and increase engine rpm as it says its decreasing to around 3800! which i guess i'm running to about 6200, maybe my tach is broken, anyone with any idea as to why this would happen?
