My vic vs 95 stang? ::Updated on page 2::
I goto school with this guy...he drives a 95 (somebody told me it was a 97...but im pretty sure he said it was a 95) anyways..its a v6, its got underglow... the ugliest 18" rims I've ever seen....2 12's in the back... and the motor is stock AND Automatic
My lx has a SRI...thats it...5 spd...anyways, you guys think I have a chance? he keeps talking trash in the civic and a race is in the works

i beat my buddy's 94 v6 mustang with my 03, 5sp EX sedan... i had an intake and he was stock with an auto... i think you should be able to get him... unless my friend was messing around with me...
You will take him for sure i beat one with intake exhaust headers and lightweight racing rims and it was standard they can't even get out of their own way much slower than civics

Rep Power: 297 A 95 Mustang has the horizontal strip tail-lights. A 97 would have the 3 rectangular shaped tail-lights and would be missing the clock pod on the dash.
Anyways, those Mustangs are slow, especially the automatics. You shouldn't have too much trouble against them.

Rep Power: 285 You should beat him, no problem. Seriously, his car probably runs 18's in the 1/4. The '95 V6's had only 145hp AND the auto's are MUCH slower than the manuals. Plus, this guy has stereo and huge wheels. Bad combo. This is not to say you should beat any V6 Mustang, however. The 99+ Mustangs (190hp) are significantly faster, and a 99+ Manual V6 shouldn't have any trouble with a lightly modded non-Si, but, like I said, I think you've got this race no problem. Good Luck, and prove to all the ignorant people that just because it's a Mustang, doesn't mean it's fast.

But yeah...If you dont have a fast car, then dont act like you have a fast car... If you do, at least do it in style! Rep Power: 0 alright i had a 2000 focus sohc with i/h/e no cat and stayed with my friends 97 stang gt (4.6 not 5.0) until about 75mph, and if i used the nitrous (55 shot) i would hand him his ***. so yea you should take him easy.

Walked him everywhere, from a dig, from a roll... I swear its the slowest car I've raced as of yet.
I took him from a dig to 85 or so (kph) and I was probably a good bus length infront of him

He got his GF to tape one of the runs from a dig...I'd like to get my hands on that and post it, just so you can see how horrible a mustang can be...

what do you guys think, right now im on stock tires, i have 3 enkei rims, broke one, thinking about throwing two on the front for traction, but idk they are heavy, i have a huge radio too, battery relocated to trunk, cold air intake, and just a resonator for a muffler,
i also have nitrous but i've never ran it before, id spray 75 just to show um up but, idk anyone have any input, and if it comes to driving, im pretty good, 5spd obviously
