parkinglot troubles lol OK So I goto the H-Tech meet over at BCM, and when I get there, I see my brother is there too(He has a 2004 civic Lx stick with cat-back and intake). I pull up nex to his car and we start chating and what not. Then my brothers friend asks who has the faster car...my brother of course says his....but I disagree..even though we pretty much have the same mods.
So my brother says "I'll race ya from that light pole*points to light pole about 150 yards away* to this one"( the one we were closest too ). Now I'm not one to back down from a race purely because I think I might lose, but we were in the mall parkinglot at 1030ish at night...and cops around there are dicks..so I said "no, not here.." He then begin saying how I thought I was going to lose and what not..so I was just like "fine! one race and thats it"
So we hop in our cars and drive over to the light pole. His friend jumps out of his car and "preps" us...he does the light-tree thing and we take-off....I immediatly pull ahead by a good 2 maybe 3 car lengths and keep that way unitl I reached the other light pole. Now keep in mind...I'm driving and automatic...and I just beat a stick by a pretty good length...So I'm pretty ****in stoked....
He then pullsup nex to me and says "AGAIN! I missed first!" I think that was crap, but I was just like,.."w/e dude I'll beat ya again"...So we pull back over to the pole, and his friend once again "preps" us,..he then comes over to my car and says "hey, put your car into its lowest gear and you'll get a better takeoff...." now,..I've tried this once before,..so I know it's crap,...so I put it into the lowest gear, and was going to wait until he began the "tree-light" thing to switch it back...
He begins to do the light tree crap, and just as Im switching it back in reg. drive...he yells go,..so I of course, still putting it back, start a good one-2 seconds later then my brother....and he wins...o well...lol story gets better...
I pull up next to him and can hear a very loud hissing noise,...there is dust coming up in front of his car, so I cant tell if its coming from under his hood or what. I tell him and he begins to walk around his car trying to figure it out....There is a huge piece of scrap metal lodged in his rear passenger side tire...not just nail size,..im talking a good inch or so is sticking out..and prolly another inch inside the tire
. I immediatley begin laughing my *** off saying " you had to make one more run didnt you?" over and over....But hes kinda lucky, he has the warranty from Discount Tire and they will replace it for free.
As "fun" or as "thrilling" as it is,...just one more reason NOT to street race.

Rep Power: 0 hahaha...funny stuff. ive raced my little sister. she got a new car not too long ago. 2005 tiburon. its a 4 banger. the car doenst look too bad i guess but its so slow. i saw her driving around somewhere with her friends and i was driving around with my friends too so i revved at her so she went at it...i beat her pretty good. racing your own brothers or sisters are fun. haha
