me vs friend

ran my friends type-s today and dont know what to think . I was jetting a 50 and was about to go 75 for the race but said *** it. So my friend (rsx-s only mods are injen cai) follows me to an industrial area where we are about to race. So we both launch and i got probably the best launch i ever got and took a car and a half. I hit second and hit the switch and still have the lead but hes gaining. Then in 3rd we are dead even until the end and he pulls ahead and 4th he had me by a car and we both shut down. It was a very good race, but i am fukin pissed that i lost. What did i do wrong?

practice practice practice. if a 50 shot is all the modding you had done then, your car should be running like 160 to the wheels with the shot. cause a 5sp ex has 111.0 hp to the wheels so plus 50 is 160. rsxtype s = 210 hp to flywheel, maybe 190 to wheels. you did nothing wrong imo. more mods and more luck will help.

yeah you'll need a 75 shot to beat a type S. a properly driven type S isn't going to lose to a civic with just a 50 shot.

How bout a 35? Judging by his traps I'd say it would come down to a drivers race in the 1/4.

yeah but a 50 shot isnt guaranteed a 50 whp so since i have a vp which says 115 but really 95-100 with the 50 shot i am guessin i have around 140-145 whp. My friends type-s only has cai and most rsx-s baseline around 160-165 and with his cai he is prob around high 160 low 170.
