1 and 1 for the eve

Well I finally got the N20 hooked up, but only got to test it out on my friends Eclipse GST cause we had our car club meeting/bowling event and missed the local races.
As I was going to the restraunt I came across a Spec V at a stop light.
:FYI bottle was not on for this:
I knew the car and the previous owner and he ran low 15's on the motor and high 13's on a 75 shot. I was counting on the fact that he too didn't have the bottle on . I later found out he no longer had it. So we are at the light and he kinda revs a bit. So I answer back. Neither of us were revving like we were gonna launch hard though so I wasn't sure what was gonna happen. The light turns green and we both roll out and I look over at him and then I see the look in his eye and we both punch it from about 10-15mph in first. I pull about a 1/2 car on him, 2nd another 1/2 car by third, he tries to shift into third and misses . I throw up the piece sign as I pull away. It may have been closer if he didn't screw up but I think I still had em. Either way a W is a W.
Ok so I go to dinner and wait in line for an hour at Texas Roadhouse (good stuff) and by the time we get done eating it's time to go bowling. So we go bowling and get out around 130am. Time to test out the N20. Haven't fully tested yet so I am anxious to see what or who I can keep up with. I wanted to race a guy in my club with his 03 Stang GT but he couldn't get his kitchen pass. So the only other person I may have a shot is my new friend's GST. I think he said he was running 17-18#'s, had a big *** front mount and I know he had an open exhaust, other than that I'm not sure . His best was a 13.5@109 but I think that was with a different turbo. He said he is hoping for a 13.9 next time he goes? So I agree to go from a dig cause that's the only way I'll have chance.
We line up, three honks and we are off I put two cars on him out the hole shift into second and go to hit my switch and I miss he goes flyin by and puts quite a few cars on me.
Second run same exact thing happens. I'm pissed.
So third run I get him off the launch but not quite as good as the first two runs, shift into second and this time I hit the switch I immedialty feel the power surge(not much though, just a 35 shot) by the top of second his turbo is spooled and he's coming for me, shift into third and he's right beside me, he pulls through third, shift into fourth and he's about a car or two a head, shut down at a hundred. Go again and same exact results. So I regretfully bow down. No use fighting a battle I can't win and wasting N20. If his car is running High 13's then I won't feel so bad cause overall i am pretty happy with the results. We will both be at the track on July 1 so we shall see. Until then I've got a few people in mind that I may want to run next weekend. N20=

hoping for low to mid 14's with a 35 shot. I ran a 15.3 a few weeks ago in this warmer weather. So the 35 shot might be enough to knock a full second off with my pwr to weight ratio. Just have to see. Damn I can't wait!!
Next weekend I may run a 350z that was running low to mid 14's at the track last time just to see what happens. Also got a Jetta GLI in mind, but I won't spray unless he's chipped. Wanna see if I can beat a stock one on just the motor.

a previous gen GST with 17-18lbs of boost and other mods such as downpipe, exhaust, etc, is a little slower than a stock S2000 from a roll. From a stop, it's no match, and in the 1/4 mile is probably good for low 14's with the BEST driving. (this can vary slightly depending on tuning)

(i used to ***** it up on dsmtalk forums. hehe)

Civic_RedLine will become famous soon enough
I would say 70-80 shot or dont even use it cuz then when u use ur 35 shot and u race someone they gonna say u lost with using nitrous.

btw, I sprayed 80 shot with my civic with stock internals. Used for probably 5-10 fill-ups. now turbod and still running like a champ
