Stupid Racer Punk
I work as a salesman for Acura, and every now and then we get some jackass who comes in looking to star in the next The Fast and the Furious. This meathead, bulky guy and his twit-looking girlfriend come in and test drive an RSX Type S with one of the other salesmen. When they are sitting down to discuss price and financing, I start listening to the conversation. It went something like this:
Salesman: ...so your lease is $329 per month.
Dood: Now lemme ask you a question... If I put... say... $10,000 in aftermarket parts on the car, will that mess with my lease?
Salesman: You're going to modify a leased vehicle? But you won't own the car...
Dood: Yea but I gotta keep my payments low so I can afford to mod the car. Besides - I can sell the stuff later and make money.
Salesman: Well, if the S is too expensive per month, and you plan on modifying the car anyway - why don't you opt for the base 5 speed and save some money?
Dood: Because its not the right block. I am starting up a business modding cars and I can't have a car with a weak motor.
Salesman: But the base is still 160... plus it's compression is turbo-friendly...
Dood: Nah bro. That base car has the K19 or K18 or somethin' in it... it's way smaller than the Type S with the K20... less torque. I can't live with that motor. My HX (He drove a 7thGen HX) is faster than that car.

One day i went to look at an RX-8. I am 19 and some say i look 12, a few say maybe 19. The guy saw me pull up nice and slow and saw the dvd player with family guy on. he walked over to greet me after I get out of the car and complemented the ride.
So we went over to a beautiful RX-8 in Titanium gray with the lip kit and spoiler. I was telling him how the civic is great to modify everything but the engine, so he was like "Do you want to drive it?" I was like sorry, im 19 so I know I can't and I am sure you dont let guys like me test drive these.
Perfect timing an older civic with a huge muffler flies by like topping out at 40mph. He goes "No, we don't let guys like that test drive ANY cars!"
So in the end I didn't drive it since I am not 21 and I don't have the money to get one so I wasn't going to waste his time.
I came back another day with my gf and got a different guy but he didnt ask me to drive it lol.

Rep Power: 330 wow, that guy was a douche. i've gotten to drive some nice cars, but most were at the honda dealer (i have some friends that are salespeople), and the others were used wrxs and a tc, but the nicest car i have driven is an 05 tl 6spd.

HAHA! You should try working for a cellphone company! I worked for T- Mobile as a Sales Rep up until last thursday when I quit, but yeah I understand how ****ing stupid people are sometimes.
