First time at the Track

Today was the first time i went to the track with my stock automatic GTO....as soon as i got there i went right to the pits. My very first run ever in this car with a half a tank of gas spare tire in the trunk and all street tires were at 35psi. It went like this......
R/T .233
60' 2.197
330 6.005
1/8 9.090
mph 80.23
1000 11.753
1/4 13.997
mph 99.82

2nd run I had a bad r/t .600 and my 60' was 2.278 I did 14.102 at 99.73 mph 2nd run was immeditaly after the first.

3rd run r/t was .536 60' was 2.247 1/4 was 14.043 at 100.70 that time I put tires at 25psi and did a small dry burnout but I had bad wheel hop I definitly would of broke my first run if it wasn't for wheel hop.....Im prob goin again next week after i install my K & N cai. Have a video of the first run right now waiting to upload it soo it will be up soon. heres the video...http://videos.streetfire.net/Player....8-D5AC1295FECB

nice job. you broke 13's AND you broke the 100mph trap on your last run. that's always impressive for a stock car, and auto.

.500 is a perfect reaction time, so u red lighted the first run and the 2nd and 3rd were almost perfect... nice

some tracks start at .000, with that being a perfect reaction time. My fastest r/t at the local track is .011

^^ I run at california speedway too which is the track he's talkin about. they used to be .500 but now they have .000 as perfect. Irwindale however still uses the .500 system.
fastest stock auto I've seen around here was pulling 8.9's in the 1/8th so you're right where you should be IMO. congrats. the manuals are running about .4 seconds faster from the ones I've seen.
