for me ever since i got my gsr its im a target for riceboys trying to showoff to their girls/boys tagging along with them. case in point im simply stopped at a light minding my own business and a r/t neon pulls and starts revving i chose to ignore and drove normally, but noooooo he then slows down for me to hear his fart can then speeds up whenever it looks liek i "might" speed up. what of waste of gas. i mean ill do the occasional speeding down the highway if theres minimal traffic but it never gets over 80. but these riceboys, what is it that makes them want to show off so much.

and if thats not enough im driving normally down a long stretch of road downshift in a normal traffic condition to pick some speed as i was in 5th doing 30mph., all of a sudden a maxima to my right speeds up after hearing my revs thinking im somehow racing this douchebag and almost crahses into a bus. i pass in front of him two blocks ahead , i pass by the left side and drive normally.

man what a waste of gas.

happened last night..........me at a light my friend in the car a late 90s monticarlo pulls up. Light turns green I take off normal he peels out. I look at my friend, laugh, and then floor it. I catch up and start hitting the gas and letting off and then floor it and pull ahead. The guy gets pissed and rides my a$$ the rest of the dive wtf??????

one night i started to go then realized the light didn't turn yet (turn arrow for the other way i forgot about, wasn't paying attention). this old cop car caprice decides to light the tires up to show me up. wheeeee!

I always look twice at a car with a modified appearance or just one that is fast even completely stock.

Heck, if its a nice day and I am looking for some fun, i'll try to mess around with any car that has a young kid driving.

I've hardly had anyone do that, and the few times it did happen, I didn't know til it was over. Most people like to rev at my car when it's parked. I guess they get scared when I'm on the road lol.

Wow...how ironic...on my way to work today I was behind 2 d-bags in an SRT-4....Im driving the speed limit and they change lanes and slow down to 50 just so I catch up to them....they then proceed to let me here their turbo a few times before flying down the highway....I gave them the :thumbs up: and laughed. I think people HONESTLY have nothing better to do. I've also noticed that it may be attributed to a bit of jealousy that our measly little civic is looking better than their $20k SRT-4 POS. Not slamming all SRT-4 drivers, just those that f*k with 115 h.p Vics...

i wish i got more races. i have a basically looking stock 4 door. i wish i could just advertise on my car "swapped" or something. i do like driving by the old high school though and try to pick races, but for the most part the only people who ever try to race are like mustangs and srt-4's. i always just let them go until i decided to race an srt-4 for the first time and blew my beautiful k20. i was right at his door to which really surprised me too.



i may have to get the biggest wing and loudest exhaust to catch some races with my new motor, lol

Most of the time when young dudes see my car they look at it hopefully because they like it and dont try to race...... I can only recall 2 douchebags who had the need to "show me up". One was a new CLK benz.... when he punched it for some reason his passenger stuck his hand out and waved to me? Thats the type of **** that'll get your *** beat honestly....

Anotehr retard was a kid in his 20s with his 3 freind in like a late 95 3 series BMW.... he was driving behind me and kept putting it into nuetral and revving.... then eventually passed me really quick.

I actually feel sorry for these people because there is something that makes them act like this...

honestly i dont get enuff any more. when im in milwaukee with my car i get them all the time but i live out in the country now and dont get that many chances lots of rice that likes to fly by you when your just driving.

i miss having some rice try to race me and then get there *** handed to them as they just hear the pshhhh as i fly by them. a the joys of a sleeper

The thing is, to kill most rice, all you really need is a stock mid-15 second car, and you're already one of the biggest fish in a sea of ricers.

Most of the time, guys driving faster cars (s2000's, modded eclipse GST's, LS1 cars, most any <14.0 second cars) aren't going to pick street races... while 'tards in cavaliers, saturns, 4 cylinder camrys, kiaz, and various other econoboxs will be the first to rev the **** out of their little engines... just beggging to get spanked by any grandma in a V6 family sedan.

Hell.. I (and I'm sure many others) don't even need to break 4000 rpm to kill most stupid ricers... and if i'm nice, I'll even start a gear higher for them to make it seem like a race. Funny as hell to watch them post on local boards, only to get laughed at by the guys who know me.

People always try to race me. From a stop, I will shift to second fast, pull to about 5lbs @ 4 or 5000 rpms, and be gone. Than they catch up when I slow down, and are giving me thumbs up and stuff. Some people are just stupid. Some 7thgen tried racing me, the first time, I didnt race, but was right behind him. He was like, what do you have done, I said turbo. He was like, what? Im totally stock. Im like, Ok, good for you. He kept saying, step on it, step on it. I kept saying no, my clutch is fried. Eventually after like 5 minutes of this, I hit 9psi, and handed his a** to him. he thought he whooped on me at first, and kept bragging, saying, "mine is stock, mine is stock". I was pissed, he thought he was a badass, but was a stupid punk. I slowed down, let them catch up, and they could say much, just wow, thats fast. lol

People constantly try to race me, but I dont feel the need to risk blowing my motor up racing some ricetastic kids.

I always get people trying to race, usually hondas or acuras. Like this weekend, wife, me and kids take honda instead of Durango on a trip. I get a 99 or 00 Civic Si on the highway reving and then trying to take off then slow down again to get next to me, Im like whatever because I have kids in the car. And then On the way home my wife driving, a 90'ish civic with unpainted bodykit and such trys the same thing drive next to us on the highway and then take off going like a 100mph. Some peoples kids. I get to many people where I live in Washington state trying to race. Ive had this 2001 Civic Ex for like 3 1/2 months and Ive had too many chances to race then I can count.

does the srt-4 have a black wing, the one i raced was yellow with a black or carbon fiber wing, it was dark so i couldnt tell. we got off the freeway at alicia. i think he works at claim jumper in mission by trabuco hills high school. dunno for sure though



on a side not, my buddy just bought an 02 stock wrx and he is getting so cocky (he used to have a 99 civic ex) and i cant wait to hand him his ***.

hm, last time I saw that yellow srt4, he didn't ... the dude I'm talking about is the cockiest ******** I've ever met. I was driving down wood canyon and he goes flying up the hill at 80 mph (mind you, this is a 45 zone and a VERY narrow road) ... flips a bitch, comes back down, catches up to us, pulls up next to us and then says "hey ........... you're gay." <--- what the **** is that?

02 wrx, eh? ... I've destroyed so many wrx's with my turbo hehehe ... a lot of them looked stock w/ exhaust though ;P .... most wrx's aren't terribly fast

oh ... also, check out the NA is best sticker in My Ride ... I got a lot of attention with that when I had my turbo (funny, eh? ... na is best on a turbo car ... who would've figured.)

yeah i ate up wrx's with my k20 too, the only one i had a tough race with was my buddies 02 with intake, uppipe, downpipe, carbon ti exhaust, perrin intercooler, greddy bov, and boost control boostin 15lbs. from a roll i beat him but from a stop he pulled on me kinda hard in second (grinded) but i gained a little back on him third, good race but i still consider it my only loss. cant wait for my k24. my car at the time was also on 2" exhasut, sri and very untuned.

he had to put it back to stock to take it to the state ref fro getting a $900 ticket for running catless. supposedly he has big plans, his cousin just got a job with greddy and hes gonna put all of there **** in it, and maybe an sti block (doubt it cause he's broke, but we shall see how i fair after my new swap)
