Civic_RedLine will become famous soon enough
talons are whack. I beat my friends talon with my civic with exhaust so this is a no problem race for you unless he is modded.

A '90s turbo Talon is makin the same power as a '90s turbo Eclipse. Those things can be whicked fast.

how much hp does that year lude have??? I raced my friends moded I/H/E Talon with my shitty winter tires and held 1/2 car until 100+ and then pulled hard. I did not shift the greatest and launched a bit late. I would say that it depends on what model of prelude it is, but if it is the slower one then it is a drivers race until around 100 and then the lude will pull. Let us know

ESi / TSi Turbo / TSi Turbo AWD
Standard Engine 2.0L 140 hp / I4 2.0L 210 hp / I4 2.0L 210 hp I4
Horsepower 140 @ 6000 RPM / 210 @ 6000 RPM / 210 @ 6000 RPM
Torque (lb-ft) 133 @ 4800 RPM / 214 @ 3000 RPM / 214 @ 3000 RPM

By 1995 those were the specs on the Talon, they continued until I think the end of it's lifespan. Its obvious which are the FI engines and which are not, so I didn't include those details. The NA Talons were nothing to write home about and even the TSi AWD wasn't the quickest car on the market, but with a few relatively simple mods here and there, those things can really be damn quick. Esp. the 1G models, their internals seem better at holding boost, a lil beefier from what I've heard.

^^ haha no way. i beat a non turbo modded talon in my civic from a roll and from the dig. they hung but i ended up around a car or two ahead.

it really depends on what model the prelude is. I had a 93 Si which is the DOHC non-vtec....160hp 5 speed and i ate an rsx base alive. the kid claims it had a band 3rd gear syncro but i have ran with him in my civic even after he got it fixed at it wasnt all that great.

i ran with a TSi talon....96ish the other day and got beat by a good 4-5 cars. if you have the Si or VTEC prelude....you have a decent chance even at a turbo talon.

^^^I was thinking about the slowest model of prelude I though that those were slow and heavy (I could be wrong though)

The thing is that esi only weighs a bit over 2700lbs, I am sure that prelude weights alot more than that. I say drivers race
