have a kid at my school that has a focus wit i/h/e n downpipe that wants to race me. I have i/h/e downpipe, cam shaft n vtec controller who has the upper hand?

can u guys give me some input on this i went to the local shop around here n he gave me some things that he think i should do to my car if i was doing anything to the engine and he gave me some choices such as bigger header from hp racing , a cam gear, or a pulley is it worth it to do all of it?

Driver's race. But depending on how well the Focus responds to mods he might have the advantage, because our cars DO NOT respond to anything except a turbo. He already has more hp and torque to begin with, stock. Good luck, I couldnt take my bros Focus, he'd get me off the line and then stay a car length ahead all the way to 90.
