That's an uber quick 7GC and it runs pretty rich. Notice the soot on the rear bumper.

man that was some serious dip on the rear of that thing lol. If whoever it was could fix the squat issue with a stiffer rear end they'd most likely get a tenth or two faster.

The guy is runnin 11s man....my guess is that it would take well over 350+ hp... probably even over 400hp to get our 7th gens into the 11s...do you really think that after all the money he has invested into that car already that he forgot to upgrade his suspension??? C'mon, the car is dippin in the rear because its pullin hard. I've seen a lot of fast cars do that.

Celica is just making a point that the car would be faster if the rear didn't dip and he's right. He's losing traction because of that. No reason to jump on him.

My point is, the car is going to dip like that no matter what with that kind of power under the hood.

Honestly no. You can get a high enough spring rate to prevent that from happening...

You act like replacing springs is going to somehow miraculously eliminate the rear end of ANY car from dipping during hard shifts on a drag strip. No springs on earth can prevent 100% of that from happening. I dont care how stiff the springs are.

Not saying the car isn't gonna move an inch ***, i'm saying it will significantly reduce the rear end squat.
