damn that civic is fast. probally k20 and turbo
That's an uber quick 7GC and it runs pretty rich. Notice the soot on the rear bumper.
as far as i could tell visually...k20 + boost + slicks...how much of a built k20? who knows!
Wow.....mos def a k20 turbo.....very sick....very fast
I'm about 95% sure thats icebergslim's disgustingly fast car.
yep
"new numbers on my setup are 520whp/355lbs tq on 24psi
best time so far is 11.55@120 20 psi.
I'm looking to run low 11's and if I can get traction high 10's"

whoever's car..props..its fast as hell...=o) i think he ran a faster time there..i just didnt get it on tape...or i taped over it.
and those are some insane #'s coming from that car!
man that was some serious dip on the rear of that thing lol. If whoever it was could fix the squat issue with a stiffer rear end they'd most likely get a tenth or two faster.

The guy is runnin 11s man....my guess is that it would take well over 350+ hp... probably even over 400hp to get our 7th gens into the 11s...do you really think that after all the money he has invested into that car already that he forgot to upgrade his suspension??? C'mon, the car is dippin in the rear because its pullin hard. I've seen a lot of fast cars do that.

Celica is just making a point that the car would be faster if the rear didn't dip and he's right. He's losing traction because of that. No reason to jump on him.Originally Posted by thiscrackerntam

My point is, the car is going to dip like that no matter what with that kind of power under the hood. Originally Posted by Hawk

Honestly no. You can get a high enough spring rate to prevent that from happening... Originally Posted by thiscrackerntam

You act like replacing springs is going to somehow miraculously eliminate the rear end of ANY car from dipping during hard shifts on a drag strip. No springs on earth can prevent 100% of that from happening. I dont care how stiff the springs are.
Not saying the car isn't gonna move an inch ***, i'm saying it will significantly reduce the rear end squat.

actually if u just get two metal poles instead of shocks/springs it prolly wouldnt dip
