Personally I believe redline, but I called and got a machine that said how they will be close x-mas weekend I will call again. Until then S2000 I say the phrase innocent until proven guilty suits this situation well

Just to clarify my best times were acheived on stock 14" steelies with BFG DR's up front. I think I may have over heated the BFG's because I was still spinning slightly and I should have been able to pull a 1.9 60ft which would have barely put me into the 14's. The best 60ft I had was a 2.075 I believe.
As I stated before I made one pass on the 17's and ran a 15.448@88.?? with a 2.224 60ft.
The pulley definetly helped some, last time I ran a 15.7 on the stock 14" dunlops. This time I ran a 15.4 on 17's. So maybe it shaved 3 tenths and the DR's another 3?? Hard to say. It does something, but it's long term negative effects, if any, are yet to be known.
S2000. I don't blame you for your concern. I would probaly be the same way. The truth will come out and when it does I'll be waiting for my apology. In the mean time do whatever you see fit to get the facts and settle this dispute. I will do the same.

Just two more points to think about in my defense.
Where the hell would I get a perfecly preserved 4 year old 15sec timeslip and a 15.7 and a 16.2 and all the other 50+ slips that I have.
OK now think about this one. I live in Shreveport La. Hallsville TX is directly 60miles west from here. So pretty much the same climate. In July the mid day temps avg between 90-100 with 99.9% humidity. It would be crazy to run your car in those kind of conditions. That is why all the tracks are open at night during the summer then they switch to days for winter. Now look what time it says on the slip and get back to me on that one.

Impressive, but I think using DR's are pretty gay. I understand it's for the track and that's all good, but on the streets, nobody uses DR's. Let' see you run a 15.1 on street tires

Well hey what do ya know this thread is about the track not the street. And I think you are pretty gay becuase you try to flame everyone for every thing. You did not get involved with this thread until you saw a chance to flame and you would not have. So shut the Fvck up

What's wrong with them? They are a simple bolton in my opinion. Just sticky tires. If that's the case then you must think people that run falken azenis for autocross are a gay. The bfg's are DOT approved and several people run them on the street around here, some daily, but mostly on the weekends. So you might want to retract that statement. They are street tires. I ran a 15.4 on 17" nitto neo-gens, maybe if I had a set of 17" azenis I could have done better and I only made one pass so who knows.

Hey I just went to the website

http://www.hallsvilledragway.com/pages/1/index.htm

Check out the messege board.
I am assuming someone from this site posted it on there messege board, but it backs up my claim and hopefully more will come.

I also saw a pic of my car from Dec03 when I ran the 15.7. It's on page 3 and 4 of the photo's. That's sweet. I didn't even know they had a page let alone expect to see a pic of my car.

Jx6 is right below mine to the left on pg 3.

do your cars usually trap at that low of a speed for that time that run is almost the same as my run N/A this spring it was 15.001@91.24 with a 2.6 60ft i expected it to be at least in the upper 90's considering the weight difference between the two vehicles

your 60ft was a 2.6. You should be running a mid 14 if you could get traction.
My best was a 2.075. I made up for the lack of top end off the line. Do you have your eighth mile time by any chance. Just curious to see how mine compares to yours. I would think mine would be quicker, but I'm not sure.

nope i was wrong, your eighth is still better(very close though) and I just relized your time is better too.
That explains it. So yeah you went 1mph faster and one tenth, but If you had my 60ft you would have ran a high 14. Yeah my car may be light but it's still only pushing 100-110whp and the gears are pretty tall. So my top end just aint there.

Thanks man, and good luck with yours. Get some DR's and you may run a mid to high 14. That's pretty quick for a heavy *** truck.

ive never gotten a timeslip from hallsville (i have 80) with the right date. the only place ive gotten a timeslip with the correct date was at No Problem Raceway.

the past month or so they have been prepping hallsville bad ***. yesterday i was hooking up awesome. that time you ran the 15.7 it was cloudy but yesterday the sun was out to warm teh track surface which helps.

here are some of my slips from yesterday with the same date as redline's

Yeah it's pretty messed up. Like you said every damn post a make there is always one or more people starting an arguement. I was kinda surprised at first too when I made that first pass on the 17's. Then I knew it was on. The sun was out and the sky was clear, so like Vector 4 said everyone was hooking up real good. I may be close to your time, but your trap speed is a lot higher. You better hit some low 14's while I'm gone.
Jake you are the man. Do the Redline mod so you can get that biatch in the 11's or maybe some slicks if you think your car can handle it. Thanks for coming on here and setting things straight.
I might see you all before I leave, but if not good luck at the track and with LOS.

REDLINE04 DID RUN THOSE TIMES!

I ran at hallsville in my slow *** automatic ex.
All my timeslips from this past saturday and 2 weeks before have the incorrect date.
The first time I went to the track the date on the slips was 1/jul/2001
This last saturday the slip said 15/jul/2001.

The machine that made the slips malfunctions all the time.It fuked up 2 runs after my 16.9 I had to go to the 3rd floor of the tower to get my times.the times were handwritten in ink on ripped computer paper. thats no good if you are trying to get street cred.

If nothing new comes out by then IE cam or ECU then I'll probally Juice it until it's paid off then K20. 12 sec k20 all motor that's what I really want, but 12sec nitrous would be nice too and a lot cheaper. I think a NX 50 shot would get me pretty close but it would probally take a 75 to break that barrier. It all depends on how much cash I want to throw into it. Remodel house or mod car? Tough desicion.
A low 14 sec NA D17 would be sweet but as of right now I just don't see the parts being developed and the cost may prove to be more than it's worth.
I was really let down when Hondata abandoned their efforts. I'll just have to wait and see what route looks best.
