was going chrsitmas shopping with my younger sister, there was a red light so we were stopped she was looking around and said "Hey Danny look at that!". There was this guy in a 95 civic token it up in his car. He looks at me and rev's his engine for a race. I was like sure we not. My sister is sittin there and shes like "hmmm so now i can see which ones better you or dad." Off we to the next light which was prolly 1/2 mile away. i come to a rolling stop at the niext light i beat him but like a few car lengths. So we see him again hittin the bowl. Light turns green he takes his left turn onto some road.

On the way home we decided to take back roads and we saw cops racein ahead of us. When we round the bend there was that same civic in some guys front lawn. My sis looked in the back of the police car and there he was.

I thought it was kinda of hilarious. Just knew doin somethin like that well drivein is well stupid?

I am confused your mods say you are boosted, not just any turbo an HKS. So you are out racing stock 95 vics (I am assuming only slight mods or you would have stated if he had a turbo) and only win by a few cars??? manual turbo was set at 8 psi, nothing out rageous. winters coming up here so its kind pointless... for the winters up here i useally take it off so it doesn't corrode with all the salt.

it wasn't the fact that i beat a guy prolly baked out of his mind it was the situation on how sad peoples choices can be.

you take the turbo off in the winter?? How does that work you just unbolt everthing, plug the hole in your oilpan, reset the ecu, and take off the intercooler. Then bolt everthing back up, and get the car retuned in the summer??? That sounds like a **** load of work and money wasted. The fact that you say usually take it off makes me say I don't think that you have what you say you do on your car. You have a 2004 and if you have taken it off before then that would mean that you got the car last september put a turbo on, built the engine, and then took the turbo off that same winter. Then you put it back on in the summer and now you are saying you are taking off again.
YOU DON"T HAVE A TURBO YOU NEVER HAVE HAD ONE IF YOU DID YOU WOULD KNOW THAT IT IS NOT JUST A BOLT ON THAT COMES OFF AND ON EVERY WINTER. And that my friend is why you only beat the stock 6thgen by a small margin

well for one it was installed by me and techs at my fathers dealership... and trust me i know its a project but i don't want it to go to **** during the winters up here. engine parts were ordered when i ordered my car from the dealer ship i got the engine work done at a local speed shop because we don't have the tools to do it at the dealership.

i just don't see why you don't understand how i treat something that cost me a fair amount of money. If thats what you believe then fine your entitled to your own thoughts and expressions. Just try and act grown up about it.

The salt that get spread on the roads up here does some serious damage. Its just not worth it.
