a BOV does not increase HP. It will hold more boost, but that doesnt necessarily mean that you can increase it.

when I said a BOV could add hp I was saying it in the context that it was being used to up the boost!!!!!! I don't know what the big issue is????? I will explain myself better to you the next time!!!!!!

OK fair enough, but lets go back to what you said about the Jetta...

Nowhere in that post did you mention anything about this guy having a boost controller and neither did "curiousfish" (the guy who mentioned the story) in this thread. So I guess the BOV is supposed to add HP? This is why we're busting your ***** man. No offense, but arent you the same guy who keeps having his own threads locked due to his own idiot-isms??

like I said before when I said BOV I was taking it for granted that there was a boost controller. I was not saying that that WAS the case with that jetta , I was just throughing out possibilitys on why it could have one. Most people take for granted that the #s coming from the factory are true with respect to a boosted car. I am just saying that sometimes this may not be true and with simple mods big #s can be had, by uping the boost. As far as the threads go yeah, I was a bit drunk the other night What is your point I did not say anything to offend you did I???
