It has been about some hybrid car that has no traction and is complaining about spending money on his wife. Lets get back to the topic at hand b4 a mod locks this thread. please?

Thats awesome man, by investing thousands of dollars you achieved a 1/4 mile time 1 tenth of a second faster than what a stock 00' Si with just i/h/e is capable of.

Rep Power: 0 I believe it to be a tenth of a second for ever 100lbs reduced in weight. I believe this to be true because I made two passes back to back. First with my friend on the car (almost 200lbs) and second pass without him. Both of my 60ft's were pretty close and I ended up with a 1/4 time 2 tenths of a sec faster without him. I might even have that other slip still...

Rep Power: 278 1st time at the track:
14.2 @ 100mph
- JDM k20a motor, SRI, 2.25 exhaust DC TCS
- Kumho ESTA 712 no traction tires
Towed the car home as my driveshaft snapped in 1/2.
Changed my setup since:
- Mugen ECU
- 3 inch straight exhaust system
- DC Race Header
- upgraded stage 1 driveshafts www.axlesystem.com
Once the snow melts up here in Toronto...
Going to hit the track with a set of drag radials. Hoping for mid to low 13s

This was my first time using nitrous at the track after getting my kit installed the very same day. Since then, I have gutted my car, added tein basics, drag radials to use for the track, and I know how to drive on the nitrous better now.

Rep Power: 0 Sup guys. I live up in Virginia and I race my car at Bristal Tennessee. I have an 04 Civic EX Coupe with a K&N Cold air intake and the exhaust fixed from in front of the rear wheels on. So far, with the stock tires and a really warm night I ran a 16.5 in the quarter. But I am looking for some links for a turbo kit. Any recomendations?

Rep Power: 0 Well, I have been to the FI sites but I only find people rambling on and not helping out very much. I am interested in the real stuff. I have seen many of the vidios that are out with 11-12 second quarters and that is what I want. To be the first around this area with a 12 quarter with a 7th gen in Bristal. I specifically like the gray vic with 300+ hp that I read about a while back. Something like that the kit he has is what I am wanting to invest in.

All the details to my cars setup are in my profile. Launch was between 4000-5000 RPM.
PM me if you have anymore questions. I am out of the country right now, but I do have access to computers most of the time.
