pulled from a light on this crazy looking benze suv thing. I over reved 1st so did not get good power into second. Was still bumper to bumper with the "thing". As I shifted into 3rd I could feel my car starting to pull so I gave him the finger and pulled to about two cars by the time I hit 80 and called it with a tap of the brakes. I did all of this with the added weight of a pal and he had no one. I just got home and looked up the suv it was a G500, there is the G55AMG that it could have been but that thing is a beast so I don't think that it was that suv. As far as hp goes this is my best kill yet (292 hp and 300+ tourqe) plus it is a benze . I did fvck up so I think on a good run I would have compleatly walk it. Lets dissregaurd the fact that it is a compleate pig (possibly the heaviest car of its size)

Thats what I'm thinkin...motorweek just showed VW's Toureg TDI do 0-60 in 6.3 sec and the 1/4 mi in 14.8...imagine what kinda power the Mercedes has. Just because its a big SUV doesnt mean it is slow. A n/a sohc honda isnt gonna be able to gonna be able to do 14.8 with only a few bolt ons, I do know that much.

Ok well I must admit you brought up a valid point. You're right its a Toureg and not a G500 so I just got done looking at both online. The Toureg has 310hp and the G500 has 292hp. 18 HP difference, nothing huge. Though in the past diesels have often proven themselves to be slower than gasoline engines so as far as power difference goes, I'm not understanding you. Neither of the manufacturer's websites state how much either of them weigh but they both look about near equal in size. The mercedes stands taller but I believe they may have a similar wheel base. Anywho, I still dont think a N/A sohc civic with a few bolt-ons has the power to pull on a top-end luxury SUV like a Mercedes.

The mercedes web site says how much it weighs it is around 5200lbs. and I am sure the benze weighs more it has every option imaginable (tvs in both rear seats and much more). Plus the fact that the VW is a diesle it has ALOT more tourque than the benze. I beleive the VW is low 4000lbs. Any ways I don't care if you think I beat it or not I know I did I don't make shitt up

For starters, your grammatical and spelling errors prove that to me. Then, I read your story. It sounds to me like you were just being a typical ricer and driving like an *******. Then, the part where you "gave him the finger" erases any doubt in my mind, that most definitely, you sir are a jackass.

I don't think he was racing you because I don't think a car that has maybe 105whp is going to beat a G500. Why you may ask? Simple, I've been riding in Mercedes since the day I was born. Before I turbo'd my civic, my mother's ML320 (3.2 L, 215 HP) car would wreck me in a race. I drove it many times, and definitely realized it was faster than the civic.

Plus, Mercedes are known to be under-rated in HP specs. My father's CLK 320, has less stated HP than an audi TT (the top model, which is also a manual), but can beat the the thing in the 1/4 mile and the 0-60mph. The automatic tiptronic transmissions are setup so that the car can put the power down very quickly and efficiently.

Now, you started playing around with weights and such. Say a civic weighs 2800 lbs. The Benz (not benze the way you like to write it), is approximated at 5200 lbs. But....the Benz has a lot more than twice the HP as a civic, with an under-rated stating. If you can do the math, which I highly doubt you can based upon your incompetent writing styles, the G500 would get more HP/L and TQ/L than the civic.

I really don't think I have to state any more examples, but I'm sure you'll post an idiotic response that will call for rebutall. I hate to do this to people, but when you post such filth, I have a hard time controlling myself.

For the Touareg: V6 is 5086lbs, V8 is 5300, V10 TDI is 5825. The diesel makes 553ft/lbs of torque.

292hp/336tq for the Benz at a heft 5423 lbs. 0.053 hp/lb ratio.

Civic (EX): 2600lbs, 127hp, 114ft/lbs torque. 0.049 hp/lb ratio.

Now, for the Civic to have the same power/weight ratio, it would require 140hp. Now the Benz comes w. a 5spd. auto. transmission. I think, as such that since the Civic really only requires a few HP more (all flywheel HP, not wheel) and this guy has I/H/E, that he might have a chance at beating that bestial SUV.

This review (http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/je...=10955&src=vip) also showes a 0-60 of 9.6 seconds. As much as this guy seems like a pr1ck for giving the guy the finger for no apparant reason, I must admit that he might have had a chance at beating it.

I did not get banned, and yes it may not have been the best thing to do. As for those that question if he was racing, he was no question about it. And for those that think I am some kind of idiot I graduated from the university of Toledo with over a 3.0 and now have a better job than most as a scientist. I am really curious as to how many that seem to make comments about my incompitence have a highschool deploma let alone a college degree. As far as my typing skills go I type fast and pay little attention to errors on this type of format. So say what you will about me giving the guy the finger that was wrong, but don't call me stupid because I am far from.
BTW I really think that this site is a great site, but I think that some of you are doing yourselves and this site a great disservice by being so critical of others. I will be making a formal topic on this on SITE QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS latter tonight when I have more time to check my work
