Embarassed an RSX Type S like nobodie's business... Alrite guys. I've been looking for one of these for over 2 months now, and finally my wish came true.
I just saw the movie SAW with my girlfriend, and we're leaving the movie theater coming out to a light. There are two turning lanes that go into a nice 4 lane highway.
I'm sitting at the light in the left lane when I see some HID look-a-like headlights coming up next to me. I hear the grumble from an exhaust. Lo-and-behold...its an RSX Type S. This thing is dropped on 17's, full tint, Type R wing, full body kit, probably an intake, and an exhaust. I was just hoping that he wanted to race. Well, I guess he read my mind because he gave a little rev at me.
Now, my heart is filled with joy. The light is about to turn green so we both start inching up. The light turns and we both make the left turn onto the highway. We're right next to eachother and instinctly we pound the pedal down.
I'm really not paying attention to him at this point, I was just concentrating on watching the road and glancing at my tach. I shift (let off the gas) at 6200 and pound it down quick. The BOV shutters....I hear his DOHC i-Vtec screaming next to me. We're coming up to another light, I quick glance over and see his headlights near my trunk.
The light turns yellow and I barely stop before getting to the intersection. By the end of it, my girlfriend said I had about a car length on him. We're both sitting at the light, but he put his window up and stayed behind me a little. I know that his feelings were hurt, but I was ecstatic.
All the time, all the money, and all the bullshit that went along with this car have finally paid off. Do the work, its worth it in the end.

I'd love to be boosted, but I dont know anything and I'd rather avoid the hassle... however once I get another car I'd let a performance shop turbo my civic

Keep in mind thats with alcohol running (lowered the pressure point) and with the air to water intercooler.

Rep Power: 344 now just think, if you would have spent that money on a car initally you could have had a RSX-S. its pretty sad when you spend a ton of more money than you should on a car to just be faster than stock cars.
If i would have taken the 7800 i spent on my swap i could have bought a WRX, which i can barely beat a stock one now.......
