dood whatahell is wrong with car bullies?

yesterday, i was at a stop sign with this... Camaro? with SS... I know that bad boy is freakin packed with power... dood! his rear tire is the size of both of my fronts anyway he comes revving his ****! and took off on me when it turned red... I be like, I know what I got, I know what my car could do, but racing with that monster be like "Me, against Mike Tyson on his early age and with psychotic behavior now "

and today on my way to work, here comes a subaru, right next to me on the stop light, I gave him that "wassup! head nod", then when the light turned green he punched it like his ***** on fire... so I tried to catch up on him, (i got a T3 @ 8PSI ) so I thought that if I get it runnin I will atleast keep up with him, when I was even with him he made a left turn

my point is, do I have a sticker on my forehead that says "RICE ROCKET"? do they even know that not all Honda owners thinks their car's N O T super friggin fast? why don't they race it with another car that has equal HP with them... or they're just to scared to lose... and pick on the lil guys to make themselves better...

i had the exact type of thing happen to me the other week on the highway. but it was a WS6 Trans Am instead. There is a stop light on the bypass close to where i live and this trans am pulls up next to me and just stared. I start laughing because i figure he obviously thinks I'm some ricer who thinks my car can fly. Well light turns green and he launches! haha i take off about as slow as i possibly could. lol why can't he go do that to some other V8 instead. i mean, you don't see me going up next to bicycles and revving.

Hmmm...they think they fast huh? Just like some idiot with a WRX pulling up next to me and asked me what I got underneath the hood of my integra at the time...although it was carrying a Louisiana license plate at tha time...I guess thats y tha dude asked. But I just told him that I got nothing...but then he goes ahead and punched it so then by tha time tha corners came around, I got right up on his tail...without a problem. I just hate it when people do that kind of stupid crap, I think it'll go tha same way if we hav fixed up civics...they don't see tha fact that they should be pickin on someone with tha same amount of HP as their cars and of course...just because its a straight shot...doesn't mean that you're fast. EEESSSHHH!!!

i agree with pinoyster. Cars always try to pull that crap with me! I know my car is slow...i know its really slow...even with the mods I have. Maybe if i had a turbo i would have a little more energy to race ppl, but not likely. Another thing i hate is when u see someone with a modded car and you give them a nod just to say whaddup to a fellow enthusiast and they try to race you, or ignore you. Or when ur driving next to someone with a modded car and they dont wanna look over.

I used to beat my friend's old '92 civic and another friend's '98 integra with my '97 Astro Van. Lolz. But I wasn't a car bully 'cause I knew them both and did it for hahas.

P.S. R.I.P. Astro Van. 2004 is the last year GM/Chevy are going to make them. Sniff*

well in the vette i have lambos (mericlargos and galarados) rev at me and I just think damn! i am happy that cars like those think im at thier level so I can get a rev from them.

what I am trying to say is be happy, before they wouldnt even waist their time with you! Take it as a compliment because in reality it is.

also if you had a k20 turbo civic you would be able to keep up with that comaro SS. They are heavy cars weigh in at like 3800 pounds and 4000 for the convert.

No it doesnt handle great and no it doesnt stop on a dime. But what do I care? It can tow 15,000lbs, hold its own offroad, and run pretty damn fast down the 1/4.

If I am messing around with a car on the street (which is the point of this thread), I never really need to have awesome handling. No one ever said anything about the corners.

I agree...once i was stopped at a red light on the far right lane, and a guy driving modified truck on my left side stares at me, and soon as light turned green he starts to go fast, but i figured he wanted to get in front of me to make a right turn on next signal. so i pusehd and didn't let him in. he gets behind me and we both make a right turn and he's on my left side again. and he goes "what's hp on yours?" and i said " 115? maybe..????" so i asked him "how about yours?" and proudly says "well over 350 hp" oh great!!!! and he asks me if i want to race.....
but i was like what the hell i dont care. so i raced him. i beat him to maybe 40mph??? and stopped at a red light and he goes but i know he could've beat the hell out of me if we kept going.

man when I do drive my car to work (its like 10-15 miles of str8 highway one way)...its 3 lanes and I stay in the middle lane cruising at about 60 or so waiting for the next ricer flyby...one time I was trying to get this truck ( I hear it has LS1 in it) to race me so I cruised next to him at about 70mph for like a mile and half (never revved on him) then I look in the far left lane and see some headlights coming FAST *** HELL...anyways when he passed me (the car that is), I downshifted (at 5psi) and pulled on him pretty good (i think I would have caught him at 5psi but it probably would have taken a lil' longer)...then as I was getting closer and closer, I switched to 8psi (middle of 4th gear) and blew past his *** HAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRDDD!! (shut down at about 120mph) ....it was a RSX Type S....we slowed down and he said "awww man, its stock man" and I was like "aight" then went about my business...man I get trucks and different shitt trying to race me ....I mean I dont blame them...how do they know I'm boosted....so I dont mind "car bullies"....

I encounter civics a lot revving at me... I leave home at 0515 in the morning and leave work at 1830 at night, I don't have time for stuff like this so I just make my effort to ignore or leave them. Nobody messes with me and my 03 Civic (All stock).

I understand the OPs post. What bothers me more is the tons of civic revving next to me.. somehow they think the exhaust actually gives them 20hp.... sigh..
