Ok if any people are from Mission Viejo it was on Alicia close to where it dead ends at Santa Margfarita Parkway. I was with a body of mine who likes to race but i have to drive him around cause he crashed his wrx. So when my friend saw the integra he wanted me to race it cause we just put on the aem v2 intake. So after messing with each other for a mile or two we finally came to a stop and he pulled up to us in the lane next to me so we knew it was on. We both run up in first and my friend heard the guy punch it and yelled at me to go. I punch it right around 3 thousnad rpm and by the time i hit second i had already pulled a car and some and in second gained another 1 and a half car lenghs shifted to third and momentary let off and i saw him move over to the far left lane and was still going so I moved over next to him and layed on it again and put some more lenghths on him in 3rd and 4th.

I raced a 5spd LS vtec from a light and from a 30mph roll. Both times he beat me. The dude you raced must have had an auto.

It was a non vtec integra ls 5 spd my friend said he saw him shifting. The integra puts out 140 at the crank and weighs around 2700 pounds and my civic that probaly puts out 130 at the crank and ways 2550 pounds. It was a good race i was expecting to be even with it.

no way you took a 5spd ls integ with mods like those. the only mods to bring you up to that status is FI or swap.

2550 stock? i'm not uhm.. calling bs or anything, but there is a truck stop by my house a friend works at and we weighed my car on it, and it came up at 2432. Maybe it was just the scale? but now I'm worried my car is missing something heh. It's got ac n stuff, all the dealer papers say its a stock auto, nothing listed as for as mods go. but it came with wheels plates instead of alloys, which i know isn't stock for an ex. those scales are probably just inaccurate.

what the hell are you talking about!!! and as for the comment on the driver difference, yea driver makes a big difference but according to his story he was behind in the race then caught up, i call full blown bs. when i ran an ls integ i was dead even with him when i punched it and he caught up and pulled so you shmucks should think about what your typing before you do. pound for pound, the ls integ is fater. if your bullshiting just admit it, dont lure other queers into believeing that your car is faster than it really is.

against a 5spd LS, your civics will lose, not matter what. Contrary to what some might say, they do NOT weigh 2700lbs. They weigh close to 2500lbs.

140hp DOHC engine > 127hp SOHC engine

Our car is 4 pounds heavier but the integra ls is 13hp more. hmmmmmmm seems very close. What diff dos it make if the engine is dohc or sohc it still 140hp. Even if both cars were brand new in mint condition I don't see the Integra stealing a victory I see it fairly evenly matched.0

I own an 02 EX my buddy owns an 04 LX he stays right at my rear bumper when we race. I have other guys in my club that have EX's and have whooped on LS Teggies so you might want to get your facts straight not just look at what stock numbers are. LS Integra's are slow unless you boost them or LS/VTEC swap and boost.
I will accept any challenge to squash this debate. I have been turned down by every LS Integra that shows up to the races. Why I couldnt tell ya. Show me an LS Teggy with I/H/E and we can solve this debate quickly.
But what do I know, I beat a 160Hp 7thgen SI twice, and once with the 6thgen SI.
13 hp is a race against drivers. Even 30hp.

TurboDreamZ queers im refering to are people talking **** like Chompondis. Just cause chompondis cant beat a ls 5 spd doesnt mean that I cant. Chompondis have you ever thought that mabe my car is faster than yours or im a better driver or both and thats why i beat a ls 5 spd when you couldn't. The integra has 140@6300 124@5200 at around 2500 pounds but i have also noticed that the sedan weighs (MT/AT) 2703/2745 so i dont know the exact weight for sure. It doesnt really matter i beat the guy fair and square. 1320Racing im also down to squash this debate so any Integras with light mods im down to race win or loose. I have also had a run in with a 7thgencivic si(buddy of mine)its stock except for mugen struts, showa shocks, 18 in giovanna gennoas, and a exaust and he gets me off the launch by a car and a half but by fourth the last time we raced he was just a couple of feet off the back of my bumber.

First of all, my best friend owns a 99 Integra Ls 5spd:
Mods: AEM CAI, Comtech header, Apexi N1 Exhaust, stock rims, neuspeed drop.
I have an 03 civic 5spd - AEM sri, dc header, exhaust, bodykit, 17" rims, dropped.
My exhaust kills my torque because of the wide piping.
Me and my friend race all the time and I always beat him by at least 1 car length. He always pulls on me at the start, but by the time im at 7000 rpm in 2nd gear, i always pull on him. So i dont know why the **** everyone won't believe this guy!! Maybe ya'll just can't drive your civics! And just to mention, my homie with the Ls integra is alot more of an experienced racer than I am!

^^ dude seriously you need to get all your facts straight... an ls teg aint no gsr or type-r. Unless they have a ls vtec with light mods we can take them. The statement that was made about ls with i/h/e, well that im skeptical about, but the ls teg is nothing great.

I see lightly modded LS's at the track all the time running high 16's low 17's. Every once in awhile though you see someone who can drive that will run them around high 15's low 16's. It also may depend on the driver because any bad driver can make a fast car slow.

And for the SI comment, thier are people on this site who are well aware of myself beaten SI civics. Your just too caught up in disbelief to realize that people can win (in thier civics) against higher powered cars. Its only a difference of 13 horses. I'm not "ganging up on you" I'm just calling out your HATING because you dont have your facts straight. If he beat a GSR then it would be more of a BS story. Keep your opinion, hopefully you can keep it too yourself.

Damn missed out on this one, but what the hell, I'll make my point anyway. I raced a lightly modded ls at the track once. Had a shitty launch and he only beat me by 1/2 car. Def. beatable by an EX or a dx like mine. And yes 1320 has always beat me when we raced on the street. He gets me off the start from a roll but i stayed even at his bumper. So my point is that it's a drivers race between an EX, DX, or LS teg.
Oh and 1320 has beaten 7thgen si twice and a 6th gen.

So maybe you need to get your driving skills up bra then we won't have to hear you cry about how you can't beat an LS.
