95 Civic v.s. 97 Eagle Talon

So me and my friends are all chillin at Waps over here. So everything is going fine we are all just relaxing, talking, eating pizza. When this little trio of honda's roles up and parks by us. It was a Del-Sol painted a sky blue, what looked like 6th gen hatch with full body kit, and a stock as hell looking 95 red EX. So they approach us, and ask if anyone wants to run. My friend decides to oblige. My friend runs a 97 Eagle Talon, with a 1st gen JDM motor, turbo is a T4 i think, plus downpipe, tuning, cams, boost controller, aftermarket pistons. He races at I think like 12 PSI. So my friend walks up to the guy in the red 95 civic. Asks if he wants to race. the guy says sure. Immediately I'm thinking..."either this guy is running a turbo setup under that hood, or he's sprayin crazy, cause if he isn't he is gonna get womped on.". So I take a looksy at the grill, No FMIC. I ask him bout sprayin, he says nope. So they go ahead and line up, civic on the right, Talon on the left. They get flagged. All you can hear is tires spinning as they both launch. The talon leads by a car through 2nd, then out of no where this civic just puts on the heat and catchs the talon maybe mid 3rd-4th. Talon ended up winning by about half a car. But man, that civic had something going on. So after the race he said he would show us what he is running. He pops his hood... H22a block staring back at us. Intake and Headers only, no exhaust. Plus VAFC II. It was freakin nice.

I just got chills....
