Unhappy Please help me!

Well folks.... I know most ppl dont know me well.... but maybe know me to the point that I'm a fairly calm and mild mannered person. I would like to ask for your help fellow members and flame me, talk some sense into me... whatever.

OK, I just raced an auto Cavi with a Washington state license plate. It had a universal duel tip exhaust. Coming back from my g/f's house.... it was in front.... didnt really care too much about it... I just took note of how stupid he/she was driving; gassing it from a traffic light to the next only to brake hard and wait there. It was a 1 lane road. So we reach the expressway.... he guns it, I dont. It wasnt maybe until .3 miles later I thought to myself, lets see if I can catch up. I dont floor it, but just get myself up to 70-75 and cruise there while most of the other cars around are going 60-65MPH.
I catch up maybe 1 mile later. Didnt really notice it was the Cavi until I passed it. Then the Cavi starts coming after me. I was on the middle right lane and the Cavi was in the far left. 4 lanes total.
I switch to the far left lane after I pass the Cavi b/c that lane was moving the quickest but went down to 65 and just cruiseed and then the Cavi comes up on my right, I floor it in 5th to not have the Cavi come into my lane, but the Cavi cuts me off and leaves me with maybe 1/2 a car length space in between us. I flip on the high beams and switch to 3rd. I move 2 lanes over and floor, 80MPH cpmes up, no more Cavi in sight.
I switch back to the far left lane, slow down to 65 and cruise.... and Cavi comes up again. My mind says "Thats enough" in the most stupidest way.... the ricer way. So I gun it in 5th still, cut off a taxi cab, then cut off an SUV with very little room for error. Once again, no more Cavi.
Back down to 58MPH.... through a few corners I go. Back on the straight.... I would never race in this particular section, but my mind was out of control, and was ready for another round. Now here's where the usual me hits me. I slow down b/c i'm on the far right lane, cars are everywhere. A highway on-ramp is coming up in 1-2 seconds.... I slow down some more, Cavi doesnt. Cavi goes between 2 cars..... 3 cars, 2 lanes.... I brake a little harder. Cavi JUST makes it between a Cadillac and a old Caravan (less than 1/2 a foot on both sides) and exits the highway.

I dislike ppl that race in traffic, I dislike ppl even more if they race and go all over the place on a highway. I have seen some stupid $hit on the highway... never thought I would do something like that. Now I did, and I feel guilty... if the Cavi did NOT make it between the 2 cars... major accident involving many cars.......... right there. I guess maybe I wanted to see how it felt to race in traffic..... I got the feeling. It sucks and it's even more stupid than I have ever thought. I mean, who the hell wins in this type of race? The person with the most dangerous moves? The person that survives? Whoever pops a nerve 1st??? What is it???? I dont ever want to find out for myself.... please keep it safe folks. Thanks for the replies...............

Yup. learn and move on. If you find the need to drive aggressively, wait til late at night and go around places where there is nobody out. Next time you see someone acting crazy, just stay away and don't do crazy stuff. If I saw you driving like that cutting off cars, you're gonna have my HIDs shining all over you. Don't be the one to cause an accident. Once that happens, your life will be miserable. So everytime you think about flooring it, think about what will happen in an accident. You will have to talk with the other driver, who could be crazy, old, or not even speak english. Then cops come hopefully, you sit out filling reports for a few hours and finally get home. That's not even it. Then you've got a court date to go to, ticket to pay most likely, maybe lose your license, and then deal with insurance either kicking you off or raising your payments. And that's if you didn't kill anyone.

^ Good point.

I have pulled stunts like that, too, and I feel sooooo dirty afterwards. Most of the time, they would be my own mistake [being in an exit lane and no one wants to let me out, etc.]. The trick, in my opinion at least, is to drive quickly, while REMAINING CALM!!! It keeps you rational.

I've done some crazy stuff too, but only because of someone else. Had so many close calls bc of other people. Stay alert and don't talk on the phone. There's no way I can use a phone and drive at the same time, so I don't. I've been up to almost 100mph on a straight highway with no cars, but one other night I hit a tire in the road. If my car was lowered, or I was going faster than 65 at the time, I might be dead now. Be careful out there.

Dang...talk about crazy...stupid peeps in traffic...I drive normally and those fixed up cars think that I'm tryin to beat their **** but for hell, its not my fault for learnin how to drive like ummm...I ono...can't really say. People just develop natural instincts and skills you know. Its not my fault if I end up leaving them behind on a corner or capable of stayin on their tails on corners that requires slow speeds. EEESSSSHHH!
