srt-4 vs rsx-s
alright this fukin pisses me off. There is so many people at my school that think just because srt-4s r turboed they will beat anything. SO I ASK ONE OF THEM would a non turbo rsx-s wit i/dcrh/e k-pro and toda spec c cams beat a srt-4 and he says no??? What do u guys think
YES
ASK JETBLU
His buddy raced a dude I know with a SRT and pulled away from him in 3rd gear in his Type-S.
SRT-4 are quick but not fast. They can become fast with a good boost controller stage II upgrades. And deff if they purchase the AGP kit. 375whp untuned.

You have to keep in mind that to have a Toda Spec C cam system you've got to have a bunch of other stuff installed too (valve springs, high comp. pistons, etc., http://www.todaracing.com/products/h...camshafts.html).
The Neon, with 230HP and 250 torque (at a disgustingly low RPM) that is supposedly under rated and probably puts down more like 250 to the ground, -and- has an LSD to actually get that power to the ground and doesn't need to rev. prohibitively high to get ahold of all that power.
If you ask me, things might be a bit in favour of the Neon, though with the amount of work req'd on the RSX, you think it'd only be fair for it to beat a stock car, that much cash blown on an SRT-4 could get you insane numbers.
Just my $0.02.

The Srt 4 are fast the other day i saw a Srt beat a Firebird Trans Am and it also beat our friends Rsx with intake exhaust and headers but who knows what the Srt 4 had. But the srt are gay who wants to buy a car that comes turbo already i rather start from scratch

Stock -vs- stock, the SRT will rape the RSX. Adding money to the RSX while keeping the srt stock isn't really a fair race no? Still, I think it'd be very close with what you said put in the RSX. I'd be inclined to say it'd come down to the drivers.

correct but he only had the Honda Reflash and he had 18 inch Volks on too so I'm sure wiht the K-Pro and stock wheels MOST DEFINITELY...they did it from a roll and dude (SRT4) still lost (right 1320racing)....my friends RSX is putting down 198whp and 141 torqueor so I believe....I/H/E & Hondata REFLASH
EDIT: his type S runs 14.3@101mph (101 is good for 13's) but thats with a 2.3 60' on 18 inch Volks....here's his car

i duno, i have seen many videos of srt-4's beating the type s. but im sure if a type s with I/H/E and hondata reflash (8600 RPM REDLINE) would race a STOCK srt-4 it would be a drivers race.
you do know that a type s with the mods he listed has the potential to be a low 13 second car right? the srt -4 with a good driver would hit a high 13 at best. now who has the advantage????
i/dcrh/e k-pro and toda spec c cams check todas website and see what it takes to run these. also the K-pro is a LOT better mod then the hondata reflash. this setups would easily dyno around 220 whp with a good amount of torque as well.
a stock srt-4 would not have a chance in hell.

look....u guys are now putting a stock car vs a modded car...come on..that proves a point right there. your type s has to be modded to have a chance at a srt4. i mean put the same amount of $ in mods on the srt4..who is gonna be ahead then..srt4 for sure..so enough of the "well if the type s had this on it" stuff...later
Yea, but your comparing a NA car (RSX) vs a car with a turbo (neon), OBV the car with the turbo will have an advantage, but there just saying that with a couple of simple upgrades the rsx will tool on the turboed neon

(I wish my 7thgencivic came off factory like that
) little do they know, we can beat the SRT4 with proper tuning and upgrades... we tend to hate fast domestic cars as domestic owners do to us... it's a friggin way of life...
pound for pound, stock for stock definitely the RSX-S will loose, and if the bastard who have an SRT4 put some upgrades to the neon with the same money and parts to the neon, no doubt the SRT4 will haul *** like the RSX is on reverse...
I would sport a Dodge Neon SRT4 anytime... but not yet... I still got the honda in me
