OK my friend just got a 98 lude. It has an aem intake, aem fuel rail, and supposely an aftermarket computer according to the honda place. anyways, its a pretty quick car obviously. In my 03 EX i just have the intake, headers, 2.5 inch exhaust with no cat, and a stage 3 clutch. Nothing special.

Well we decided to take the highway home bc we wanted to see how bad he can beat me untill i get my boost. His bro was in the car with him and my gf was in the car with me. Light turns green and we take off. To my surprise, we stay pretty much even until i was about done with 3rd gear around 75 mph when he started to pull away. I was obviously expecting to get killed, and i am still in shock. I'm guessing that he just cant drive bc it really shouldn't have been close at all. I just can't wait until i get that turbo on and then i can just play with him.

have to said that ur friend can't drive. H22 put out about 200hp stock plus upgrade about 215hp. that is like aleast 80hp over a ex. even though lube are heavy but still.

preludes are crazy. my friend just threw a turbo kit into his late 90's lude. he raped my friend in his RSX type S horribly.

I ran side by side with a Lude in 3rd gear he wouldnt pull until fourth

The newer ludes are VERY heavy. Almost makes the extra hp useless, but maybe he couldn't drive that well. Was it auto?

no its a 5 spd. i just don't think he can drive, haha. he's been driving a stick for a long time, but i don't think he shifts fast if you know what i mean.

Hmm, my third gear redlines around 85 or so, why was urs beginning to end at 75? You have alot more mods then me too. Nice job though.

not really sure. I normally redline at 79 or 80 in 3rd.

Maybe youre friend wasnt shifting too hard or fast b/c it's the 1st day of having it.

damn I miss all the fun....which lude was this and what color?

btw, I hear Ludes are HELLA SLOW....and thats coming from a former Lude owner...he told me, stock, he ran like a 15.3 and the best he ran with like $1500 in mods was a 14.9 with a 2.2 or 2.3 60' but ya'll are talking about from rolls though

Slow I was keeping up with him on Bert Kouns going to Academy...Then all I see are cops behind us I slow down with my gears and they all turn into Academy I was like HELL no and jumped on 49 and BOUNCED
You need to run our Silver JDM Prelude But I'm not sure if its running right will have to check
