Not to be an idiot but are you sure this kid in the SS was racing? I mean, it could of been they just looked at you and went at a normal speed to the next light and all. What is all done to your Civic that would have you being "King" in Detroit? Hell, go to www.xceedspeed.com and I am sure you will find out you are not the "King" very soon.

Rep Power: 0 Hes probably like this one kid(actually the guy looked 28, acted 14) who goes to the ricer meets here in town and EVERY Saturday hes there with his hood open. Brand new '04 Saturn. He just looks under his hood and measures **** with his measuring tape for about two hours. 
and OMG I saw him at TWO different meets in one night doing the same ****. I finally had to walk over and ask him wtf he was doing. He told me he was measuring for his turbo kit (bwahahahaha) He had this little notepad writing down stuff and drew a little cartoonish 'turbo routing' ...well i dont know what to call it...."thing"
That was 3 months ago...hes still there every Saturday. LMAO guys I wish I had it on tape. I think I might stop by there and get him to lay down his plans on camera lol.
What made it so funny was he looked almost thirty but was hanging around these 15-17 year olds.....(plus he was wearing a suit...WTF?????
at the car meet measuring your engine bay)
I should have asked him if he checked his muffler bearings yet...."Theres a recall on those ya know".

since theres a lot of domestics I'm sure there's got to be a few camaros or mustang gt's rolling around. they would stomp your civic as well. how about a stock S2k or an rsx type s, vw r32, scion TC, svt focus, civic SI, wrx, STI...... geez I could go on all day listing cars that would stomp your civic even stock. wake up man.

Rep Power: 0 i never said it wasn't any camaros or mustangs JUST NOT A LOT of CELICA's. can't u read where i'm from DETRTOIT. where everyone here works at the big 3. so since everyone gets the A plan, people buy american cars. and where i'm from in my space there aren't too many people buying svt focus really. the ones that are, seem to be middle class and aren't into racing. but for the record i got beat friday by a caviler with a 100 shot (yea i know he really had that much pumping into his engine) i raced because i never raced anyone with nos before. and yep it wasn't even close. and no i wasn't in detroit, i had to drive a distance to go to where these types of races are. out there people have imports and other types of cars to race. BUT like i said it's not near me.
