Civic VS IS300
I was coming back from Hot Import Nights on saturday when i see my friend and his cousin, in their IS300 with intake and exhaust. We slow down to around 40 and go from a roll. By the end of second i had put a fender on him, but when i shifted to third he took me by half a car. We shut down around 80 and he turned. I expected to loose because i had 3 people in the car, but he did not pull me as hard as i thought he would. Maby i can get him next time when im by myself.

Rep Power: 329 yeah that car has some torque. maybe he shifted at 4000 rpms. 215hp/215tq wons those small cars. 0-60 around 7 seconds driver dependant.

kms civic? ... well as far as the d17 goes, the hypothetical mods on that car probably did this much:
ported head +2 hp
itb +3 hp
header +1 hp
exhaust -1 hp
findout your n/a modded d17 sucks - priceless

all 2001 is300s are auto. 2002+ had the option of 5 speed or auto.
Autos were rated like .5 seconds slower from reports I saw way back when.
I saw like 6.9 and 7.4 to sixty. No way an IS300 couldn't pull on you harder than that unless you're boosted.

Instead of starting a new topic i just decided to post it here. My friend has a IS300 auto. He's been wanting to race me, but i said that he would kill me. After weeks of him trying to convince me i finally decided to race him. We set up and I launched at around 2500-2800. I took him by a fender off the start not to my surprise since i have a stick but right after i shifted to second he was at my rear bumper. I cut it off right at the end of 2nd and he was about a half car back. I couldn't believe he didn't pull on me. Ya'll can call BS all day but there were 20 people here that can vouch for it. O yeh, I also raced his cousin who has a Base RSX auto and i beat him bad. I didn't even launch, i just drove normal and beat him. This was my first night of street racing and it was a rush. I don't ever do it because I know how bad it is and I also like having my license. It was fun though, I can't wait to get to the track to see what my times are.
