if you have an auto , they are gunna do 17's all day long. Also your reaction time has no effect on your 1/4 mile ET. so you can sit at the green light for 5 second still run 17.2. That if you did not knwo that. The best trans is manual for our civics. I run 16.3 @ 84 but stock and me not shifting right.

Try this next time, 3000 grand at the line and launch. 60 foot is your problem. I have a 2.125 60 foot time. I rev at 3000 and drop just watch dont spin tires. Also i get alot of practice sincei work at a track.

wow crap, that is very very interesting ... I didn't know that. So I guess reaction time kinda counts for **** (unless you are on the streets at a stoplight ... hehehe)

How do you get your 60ft times that low?? are you dropping the clutch a 3K
or are you letting it out slowly. I can't seem to get my 60ft time lower than 2.425

Almost dropping it, kinda hard to explain. You just gotta practice. It good to work at a track hehe.
