beat jetta
its 2 am last night and a bunch of us are comin back from the boardwalk. i pull to the red light blasting my system. btw, i have a bone stock 03 EX coupe with a/t (SLOW) and my friend pulls up on his 2003 jetta 2.0 gls a/t. i thought he would take me because of the bigger engine. (he has 115 hp) i didnt want to race. anyway, the light turns green and i start normally accelerating and he does too. then at about 15 mph, he guns it. after a second, i floor it. after about half an avenue i caught up and took him by half a car. at the next light i tell him to go from a stop. the light turns green and i ripped him. by 50 mph, i was about 3 cars ahead. gave me a big boost of confidence lol.
Currently boosted at 0 psi.

That is actual horsepower. You mean to say that they are talking about wheel horsepower; in that case, I believe it differs from car to car. Also, in that case, wouldn't the Jetta have less hp, too?
The 2.0L are sooooooooooooooooooooo slow, I think a mophed would kill them. I had a Jetta before my Civic, and I loved it. I had a 2002 1.8T. I was able to put in a K04, Neuspeed Performance Chip and an intercooler. Stock was 180hp(177 to the wheels)Was able to get 252(dynoed). Man I loved that car. Here I have a pic. Boo I had to get rid of it. Anyways, good job dude.
