ok SO i just turned on the highway doing 40ish i look in my rear view and see some HID's so im like OK.. lemmie slow down check it out... dude pulls up .. its an sti.. i give a lil gas to signal that i wanna 'run' and we take of... I KILL him in 3rd gear... i take likea full car length... as i switch to 4th i see his car JUMP dead even with mine as we flew up to 120mph he took a car length on me...
so the highway ends and it turns into a light with a turn around.. so we stop.
dude is like WOW man THATS a fast HONDA .. 'what u got?' im like... 'same thing you do(meaning turbo)' and i proceed to tell him that my 1.7 liter is gonna tear his 2.0l apart. him and his friend are just like damn. SO i tell him HOLD ON lemmie pull off and turn the boost up.
i was running 9psi ish..... so i pop'd the hood . turn the turbo xc mbc up a turn to 11-12 psi.
close the hood and we're OFF again.
We go back to the end of the highway and turn around again... we take off from a dead stop. i spin first but stay dead even. 2nd gear i got about 1/4 car length on him. 3rd gear i took anoother 1/4 car and once I hit 4th i had taken a full car length and could see his headlights in my side mirror, by now we were doing about 110ish.. I PUT THE HAZARDS ON .. we both slowed down to like 10mph.. ON A HIGHWAY mind you at 2am tho. MIND YOU im SHAKING from the rush .. and i start SCREEMING... WOOO I JUST BEAT YOUR ****ING STI ..... WOOOOOOOOO **** THAT SUBARU.. LMAO.
the sti had to people in it compaired to just myself in mine..
BUT I BEAT THAT MO FO.. I ****ING DID IT!!!!!!!!!

Rep Power: 0 I have seen a number of terrible launches at the track by awd cars with inexperienced drivers....evo's, wrx's, dsms.....If you don't launch a awd correctly it will not jump off the line..it will just wheel hop like mad..

Rep Power: 0 I dunno about this... my coworker has a BONE STOCK sti, and he can rape me off the line. Mind you I pull 1.9-2.0s 60's at the track on street tires, so I'm no slouch off the line myself. I don't pass him until 3rd, and I am putting down over 400rwhp.

the sti is around 3271lbs
and my honda lx at a lovely 2465 lbs.
they say that for every 100lbs lost, its a hundred of a second in ur 1/4 time . alteast thats what i herd.
^^^ those numbers seem to back that up i guess.
now im not factoring passengers, stereo, hp upgrades or whatever else a person might have but u get the idea?

The stock IS is supposed to weigh in at around 3260, not 3500.
Besides, whatever my car happens to weigh, power solves all problems, and I've got no shortage of that

The anouncer said "WOW, McDonalds must have been giving away STI's today with Happy Meals, EVERYONE has one..." ROFLMAO!!

Sadly The STi aint all that its Hyped up to be. dont get my Wrong but its not the Uber Car alot of people seem to think it is. (Solo 2 the Evo 8 is the better car, theres just somthing in the handling dept that the Evo does better then the STi)
