my friend has a 1995 eagle vision ESi (sedan) with a 3.5L 161 HP V6
not very impressive power/dissplacement ratio, but it makes up with about 170lb/ft of torque.
at a stop light, lined up, i was torque braking, revs at 2500rpm
light turned green, we both gunned it about .5 seconds after the light turned green. he had me off the line cause of the torque and was beeating me through first gear. once my auto shifted to second, i started pulling towards him and away cause i was guessing the torquey v6 didnt have much power up high
we shut down as i reached the top of second (65mph) and was ahead about one car length.
goes to show that we have weight advantages over some torquey yet heavy american cars.

Rep Power: 0 Honestly didn't know Eagles came in 6's. I know 3 people around here with TSI's. Pretty good friends with all of them, they always give me a spankin, but anything less I have always been able to beat.

Rep Power: 0 its funny, one of the main belts in my friends eagle is squeaky
so when the revs go above 3.5 grand, you hear a little whine and it sounds like a supercharger very cool
