7thgen Trys to Race the Vette 
I respect 7thgen owners and I myself own a 7thgen but what happen to me today was pathetic....I was at a light with my dad, we were heading out for dinner when a red 7thgen civic with the California special package pulls up to us-Latino decent he appeared, not that it matters!. I look at the guy because I was curious what he had. Note : I am the one driving... Well He looks back with a smirk and starts revving his engine, which sounded like hairdryer. well to 2800 redline, I’m not sure this was by ear and that’s standard launch for me in my civic.
My dad looks at me and says he just wants to see you go, I’m like I know, laughing slightly.. Well I don’t know if the guy saw me, but the light turned green and he floored it off the line
ya now I know how sad my car looks to a vette owner not that I didn’t before.Think that was the end no he slows down to our speed and revs his car again than yelling you *****!
well I had enough waving a nice take a hike, he guns it again and I just dropped the vette a gear gunning about 7 car lengths in front of him in less than a block.. I couldnt of course here him
but I would have loved it. My dad just shot me a mean glance for that and said you want to waste ticket on that stunt?!
I said nahh just putting him in line.
needless to say the owner of that car cant put his mouth where his money is...
Now I own a 7th gen, but guys I know my car is slow and I wouldn’t ever talk **** to an old man and his son!
Personal note: His car was pretty supped up it seemed body kit, exhaust, rims, lowering. no clue under the hood. Just by looks you think he would be respectful not a motorist that makes us 7thgeners have a bad name?

Rep Power: 0 I know what u mean. I have a camaro, and though it's not a vette, to a ford escort it is. Some escort tried to race me 2 nights ago, and i decided to have some fun with him. Well it was a fun waste of gas ;-) When I pull up to a ZO6, i don't rev my engine thinking i'm gonna beat him, i expect other people to have the same respect.

one time i raced a late 90's mustang v8 only becuz she was hella old n i thought it was a joke. she actually floored the **** outta it and left me behind. after 5000rpm, i just gave up and didnt wanna go thru all that traffic. this old bitch was crazy! she was changing lanes rapidly almost rear ending others and stealing the oncomming traffics lane.
this is one of the oldest craziest bitches i have ever seen on the road.
one time i raced a late 90's mustang v8 only becuz she was hella old n i thought it was a joke. she actually floored the **** outta it and left me behind. after 5000rpm, i just gave up and didnt wanna go thru all that traffic. this old bitch was crazy! she was changing lanes rapidly almost rear ending others and stealing the oncomming traffics lane.
this is one of the oldest craziest bitches i have ever seen on the road.

Rep Power: 312 i beat a Vette once in my Civic... of cource it was a Chevette, not a Corvette.. :/ but hey, i can still say i bet a Vette!!! Maybe people won't ask which one of the two it is?

Rep Power: 312 haha the thing i love is pulling up in the rsx to cameros and mustangs and have them call me rice and then fly by them or im my roomates sti that we took the wing off of peps think its a wrx and we smoke them...hahaha o and not a ricer fly by i am talking about a race....it was even better at the track when we were waiting next to this umm i would say 95 cobra and we beat him in front of everyone in the rsx haha....But in the civic i only do that if its like a freakn car i know is going to be fast as hell so i can see how fast it is i do hate it when a focas or a neon revs up to the rsx tho

Rep Power: 0 i love racing cars MUCH faster than mine. like that time i raced an m3. this m3 was hella pimp too, it was lowered and had a cf lip. needless to say, he burned my a$$ and he didn't even floor it.
