Can I Beat a 1995 eclipse?? 
Ok heres my situation. There a guy that drives a 1995 Eclipse.
I know he got his engine Built (he says) He has bigger pistons al that crap.
We have been competing for like a year the first time we raced i beat him (before his upgrades) and he was a shitty driver but now we are going to race again .
I already bought DH racing's PNP Head. I got a turbo kit that i plan on running at 6-8 psi when i install it.
Im also getting some sort of piggy back FM for the boost. Do you guys think I can Take him and if not what mods will increase my chances of smoking his A$$?????
I mean it wouldnt be a big thing but this guy is always talking $hit about my ride and my mods and im really pissed and want to own his a$$ this spring.
P.S he also has direct port nitrous injection 150 shot but the dumba$$ doesnt know you need FMU to get enough fuel in there and he's never used it. so im not worried if he uses it cuz he'll just blow his engine.

I really don't know how to answer this question. In my opinion, it sounds as if this guy claims to have a lot of work done to his car yet we know VERY little details. Bigger pistons (not a common DSM mod, as far as I know) and 150 shot. Without more info, its difficult to make any conclusion because if he has nothing but pistons, his car very well might blow up, but if the mods we don't know about include forged internals and a T88, you might as well sit this one out.
Ok from what i know he took the engine to a local Machineshop.
They supposedly made the pistons bigger by porting the block and i do know his engine compartment has alot more room towards the front than before. so it looks like they cut it or made it smaller.
I know his ecplipse is not the turbo version . I dont wanna ask him for details but im estimating it cost him 3k to get his engine back from the shop. But his car wouldnt even start when he dropped it back in. He had to take it to the mechanic to adjust his ecu.

Depends all in all what he has. I have seen some pretty insane 95 models. do you know if he plans on boosting it?
As for you, everything seems in order...
Personally when I get set up im going to spray and boost. Another member on this site I believe has that setup

So... you don’t KNOW what he has or does not? You are just going off what he "said"?

A) It doesn’t matter what you *might* have in your car at a later date. What if the install is botched? What if you can’t get the AF ratios right? What if you can’t drive? ...see my point?
B) A different engine/car wouldn’t hurt.

You don’t need a fuel management unit to run nitrous, especially w/ a direct port set up. An upgraded pump, FPR and a gauge to keep an eye on things is about it. Sounds like the both of you are talking **** back and fourth without knowing too much. Makes for a funny post, but a moronic decision. If you took the time to actually find out whats going on you might not need to solicit feedback on the internet.

LMAO! Okay... let me get this right. They made the PISTONS "bigger" by porting the BLOCK? I do suppose you could bore out the cylinders to make room for a larger bore/stroke piston-rod, but given the rest of this post I find it hard to believe that’s where you were going with that.
Also, please explain how you increase an engines displacement while decreasing the overall size by "cutting it". In fact, that makes my brain hurt just from reading it.

Bottom line is this:
All things being equal, he’s going to win. Unless your 6PSI turbo set up is going to give you ~150WHP as his nitrous set up will its a no contest race. Game over, Frodo.
