you're kidding right? his mph was 77.02 mine was 78.38. also remember the gts sux down low so while he isnt gonna get much faster my car was barely getting started.

the only reason he was even close was his better 60'. but eh I'll have proof of what the 1/4 will be tomorow cause I'm headin out in a bit to go run the 1/4 with this setup. gonna run a 14.1 jetta and some hondata #4 rsx-s that run 13.9 and 1 that runs 14.1. hopefully I wont lose too bad. lol

me and the 14.1 rsx have almost identical 1/8 times and mph. his best 9.25 @ 78.5 and me 9.22 @ 78.38

so should be kinda close.

el problemo 1) I got shitty times

2) there was nobody there to vid. all of us were racin.

best of 14.503 some reaon i was over 2mph slower and .3 slower then I was thursday.

^^ yeah unfortunately i've tried 2 track days now and I've only gotten a total 5 runs spread 3 hours apart so i havent quite learned how to launch with them yet.

on my yokos I pulled consistent 2.20 and 2.19's with the dr's I keep boggin off the line.

my 60' times went like this.

that track is also 1200 ft elevation so I was losing 2.5 mph. my teamates rsx-s with I/E hondata #4 dr's was runnin identical times in the 1/8 and at this track we were still dead even. only 2.5 mph slower.

also 14.5 is NOT fast in any way shape or form. theres no reason why I shouldnt hit 14.2 except my driving was not good yesterday. but eh can't get your best runs every day. lol

No offense, but i have never seen a Celica gt-s run a 15.0 let alone a 14.5. Its not possible. The car has only 180hp. Stock WRX run mid 14's, so your basically claiming you can beat a stock WRX with 220hp and all wheel drive(i am aware of the weight difference.Sorry not buying it here.

ok since you're a noob I'll go easy. lol heres some facts for you...

1) I can beat wrx's from a stop on the street is not likely but can and has happened. highway or any roll it's over for them.

2) check www.newcelica.org, www.everythingcelica.com you'll see you have NO idea what we run.

3) I 'm in the top percentage of celica drivers so of course my times are a lil higher then normal.

Still Dont BELIEVE YOU, But thanks for the FLAME. LOVE ya guys. Its not hard to post other peoples slips either. I would have to see it to believe it. I dont believe things easily especially times like that, I am a avid drag racer every wednesday and friday so i would not consider myself a NOOB. I have been racing for 8 years, never seen a Celica GT-S run 14's with out the help of nitrous. You cant make everyone believe you, and who cares what i think anyway.

But just so there is no bad blood between us, Celica's are respectable cars, but if they were that fast why aren't they more popular. maybe the track has a slight decreasing slop? its possible...the track i race at is partially up hill...its more than likely a fast track coupled with good driver with slicks...door closed...

How do I know your all motor honda could beat me? you have ANY proof? not yet. so why even make a statement like that without backin it up. I have clearly shown what I can do. Not gonna work. But I enjoy watchin people look like fools so please if you must continue then go for it. maybe you'll get outa the "i live in a box" attitude. since a 180 hp 2500 lbs car could NEVER hit 14's yet a 160 hp 2800 civic can with bolt ons. lol cause of course thats WAY more believeable.

yeah and with a good driver you can do better! full interior I ran 14.7 stock and with the front/rear seat removed I ran 14.491 @ 94 mph but wait thats impossible too cause he wasnt there so never mind me I'm just lieing again
