7Th Gen Civic vs. Lexus IS300
Here's another great kill im gonna be honest though if he wouldve kept on he wouldve beat me by a half car or so. anyway here it goes.
i was on my way to my house w my friend rey. he has an impala ss and we were just along side eachother. so w/e were on pines blvd. and flamingo rd. and i see an svt and my friend tells me to rev at him for fun so i rev and start laughing and w/e he turns and leaves. so then im going along w my friend and he swerves to stay on 67 cuz its kinda a fork in the road. so i have to follow him, and i unintentionally cut off the lexus. and no i didnt run him off the road or anything like i was right in front of huis bumper off by a foot or 2. so w/e were going down flamingo and he (lexus) starts accelerating so w/e i follow him sto see how interesting this race w be. basically to see how bad i get my *** whipped. we catch a light and he moves up. i call my friend whos behind me and i tell him i think im gonna race. so we hang up and i move up a lil bit. the lex pulls up another fender to basically "stage" at the line. i move up and keep it at 3 grand. the light turns green and i launch and pull a car and a half on him at the end of first. by the end of second, ive only got him by a fender, and i slam 3rd and he starts pulling but he lets off before he taes the lead so i win yay!!!
lol we stopped cuz of the next light
and listen guys im not that type of guy to swerve in and out of traffic. this part barely has cars at around 9pm so theres no need to worry about putting other people in danger. if u need proff, ill have my friend come on and post on his behalf he was behind me the whole time during the race. thats just for any doubters though. thanks for ur time guys and have fun

So your saying you pulled on an is300 from a stop till 75 mph? And only at about 75 did he start to catch up but then backed off? Here are my response options as I see them.
1. The guy wasn't racing..he was pacing
2. The guy was simply accelerating at a slighlty faster than normal ratre and you thought he was racing.
3. The guy couldn't drive for shiet.
4. you woke up but didn't know the events before hand were a dream.
5. Pure

I have raced an IS300 before. I got my *** handed to me (for the record I fully expected it) The only time I beat my friends IS300 is through the twistys and thats only because he isn't a very good driver. In a straight line where all he had to do was put his foot to the floor....he left me like I was standing still.

FYI the IS300 only has about 185-190 to the wheels on a heavy *** cow it has to be atleast 3000 pounds+ so how would it be bullshit?

racing stoplight to stoplight.. wow you're cool. Your "mods" will give you 5-10hp MAX, stop pretending you are putting out an extra 40hp with them. An IS would smoke ur *** if he was trying, hell my moms 98 ES300 would stomp you. Ic3y h0t stunna y0!
0-60 on the is300 is 7.1
on the civic is 8.5 to 9.0 ( I couldn't find a definitive number so thats the range in all the tests I looked up. )

Rep Power: 0 wtf did u read the first 2 lines? i said he wouldve spanked me in third gear u dumbasses i just had him in the first 2 gears i barely spun he did but not too much, and i was starting to lose him when i shifted in 3rd cuz its too long, but u obviously dont read too well i know ill get ripped but im saying i took him till i got to 3rd, from then on its a diff story bro just think about the story then post again when u get it
im not trying to be mean or anything but im getting frustrated cuz i know what i did and what i did was take him in 1st and 2nd, he started catching up at the end of 2nd, 3rd he wouldve taken me but that damn light. the point is i wouldve lost 3rd and up ok? now u get it? damn

Rep Power: 0 I want to race you, or if that is not possible because of geographic constraints, I will race ANYONE you know that has similar mods to you in the DC area with my friend's stock IS300. We will videotape the race.
Obviously I won't use my car, that would just be silly.
I owned an '02 EX coupe personally, and I have raced several of them when my car was stock. The IS pulls harder in 5th than my civic did in 3rd. I put several carlengths by the top of third on every 7th gen vic I ever raced when I was stock.
My best time when n/a was a 14.711 @ 96.05 at MIR last spring.
I'm now sitting in the low-mid 12s, but my n/a time shows just how well the IS300 does. Show me a 7th gen with boltons that can get into the high 15s and I will be impressed. Even the auto tranny is300s run low-mid 15s.
Obviously I won't use my car, that would just be silly.
