a while back i raced a 99 civic ex with intake headers exhaust and that tornado ishh ooo..also he had no system...i jus had my intake then aem short ram and i have a system thats it...we raced the quarter mile once and i had him by like nothing most of the way but at the very end he started pulling ahead..im gessing hes got more high end power by the way we both have automatics...just figured id share also now that i have my exhuast u think i could beat him?? and does that sound right that i beat a car with all that while i just had intake and i was heavier

its normal that you lost. Same 127 hp but a bit more torque on the D17s, which is needed for the slightly heavier body of the 7th gen over 6th. Also, you had a system, he didnt, and he had all the bolt ons.....so you definitely should have lost.

no i beat him but it was like by nuthing so its not really a kill

but about your story yes if you take out your system you should be able to beat him
& like oohoooh said you should have lost because 7th gens have heavier body weight plus your system, and 6th gen is lighter + no system = you lose

weight is a big factor in hondas
