Yeah, same engine in the two cars but the SH had suspension and LSD. It was heavier and therefore slower in a straight line than its base model counterpart. Also, Im gonna have to say that, from a roll, a WRX is not going to pull that hard on a Prelude. It gets good ET's because it is AWD, not because it is otherwise that fast STOCK. Modded is a different story, but STOCK, it isn't significantly faster than a Lude, especially a modded Lude. And, yes, I have driven a WRX.

You can think what you want. Myself and the kid in the lude knows what happened. Someone not believing a true story is not going to ruin my day.

I believe the story, except that I don't think the lude was pushin it all the way. Because in a lude in 2nd gear takes forever to get the R's up, which means you wouldnt be able to hear the exhaust over a wrx. I have driven the wrx and they are not a quiet car when pushing hard, which means that if the lude would have been in first he would have pulled you. I think that maybe you both jumped on them in 2nd, and when he was losing he let off because 7 bus lengths is ridiculous, but then again it depends on how long the race was

hey yekonart(i dont even car if its spelled wrong). You almost seem like a smart guy. That turbo 2.0l has more torque than the non turbo 2.0l- nice comparison. I like wrx's and all but some of the people driving them are idiots. How do you get off comparing a turbo to a non turbo. How about we yank off the turbo on the wrx and then race those cars(you know the wrx isnt **** without the turbo). Yea Honda are known to have low torque but it is made up in the higher rpm ranges. Wrx's are know for having a weak top end and only run low 14's from a standing start. Wow man you have an sti and are like 40 yrs old. Have you noticed that most the poeple on this site are in there teens or twenty's and cant afford to drive 30 thousand dollar cars. Nobody is impressed by you bragging about your sti.

yukonart has been respectful and has a decent knowledge about what he's talking about.

i expect you give him the same courtesy, rather than do childish crap like. "i dont care if i spell your name wrong" wtf is that? welcome to kindergarten. its now your nap time.

There have been past times when yuknonart has posted information in which more than a few people diagreed and he wasnt the most cudious person to talk to. Do a search and you can see what im talking about. I believe in the saying that you shall treat others as how you would like to be treated. S2000man01-calling me a kidergartener and telling me its nap time is childish. Dont you agree?

Wow. . . and to make your point about me not being courtious, you have to act like this?

Guess it just goes to show respect has to be earned. I could care less if a few people up here don't find me to be a good guy. I do what I can to help, participate in some debate, and yeah. . . once in a while I act like a ****. Welcome to the real world where things aren't fair, and people aren't always who you want them to be. We're all just human, we all make mistakes, and sometimes we say things we later regret.

So what if I'm old? So what if I drive a car many up here can't (or aren't willing to) afford? You want to see people brag about their cars? Visit more HONDA sites. Far as I'm concerned, the car doesn't make the man. . . the man makes the car.

There has been more than one thread that has had me wondering why I come back here. I guess it's shining examples like yourself that bring those questions to mind. On the other hand, I pay more attention (and give more credit) to those people up here who are all the things you claim I'm not. And for that, I always try to better myself. I wonder if you can say the same about yourself.

Know what separates people like you from people like me? I usually know when to quit.

And there's one thing I possess which appears to be in great shortage up here. . . wisdom. If people don't want me share it, I don't have to. I can let everyone take the next 10+ years to learn about things I can already tell them. But hey. . . I'm a ****, and I brag a lot, and I have nothing meaninful to contribute because young ****** make me insecure and jealous. lease:
