Question Weight reduction...

Hi, I was wondering if anyone here knew any shops in California who deal with race prepping and fabrication. Mainly looking into building a track car and taking out anything in order to have a lightweight vehicle, mainly gutting the interior. I haven't decided on what car but I'm looking for a reputable shop that does this type of work. TIA.

Um unless you plan to have it acid etched then you should do it yourself. Interior is hella easy to remove.

Yes, rip out the carpet. Take out the back seat, spare tire, what dash you dont need, and middle console.

you'll need to buy a race battery, C/F hood, Light weight rims, racing seat.

Remove everything in trunk
Then strip ALL plastic panels/speakers/stereo out.
Remove all glass and replace with lexan
take all your carpet/door panels out
remove your entire dash, replace with a simple little gauge cluster.
All that should be good for a few hundred pounds and about .5 seconds off your 1/4!!
