does anyone know what the top speed on an 03 civic dx with a 5-speed it can go

ecu limits at like 120 or somethin...if you're going downhill, or if you have enough momentum, u can hit 130's.
i was going at an incline and my car refused to go higher than 118 mph, when i started going downhill, the momentum carried me past 130 once.

yeah i thought it was around 120 i hit 118 the other day on the highway as it was late and no one was on the road, but i coulda had another 2 mph damn! haha thanks for the info

i've had my 02 Si up to 120 before, and i'm pretty sure it was still going, but thats just a bit too risky for me. ive only done it twice, and hit 110 maybe 4 times

I only took it up to 120-122. It was still pulling, but I had no control over the car, so I stopped.
I usually like to take it up to 100 in 4th, when I get on the freeway. Feels like you have a lot of power even if you don't.

when i had my 01 ex i hit 134 w/ 4 people in the car. Tey can all prove it for me. With my Z i hit 143 the other day has a governer for 156. will i ever hit it. YES in due time!!!!!

I had an ollllllld car, an '86 Civic HB. I got that thing going 127 downhill in Nevada once... and I could have gone faster, but I dared not with the way it was shaking...

No mods, probably didn't have more than a 90 hp engine. I know that doesn't sound like it makes sense... but I swear it happened!

My stock 2K1 Civic Sedan 1.6ES 5-speed (VTEC, euro version) 15" wheels factory diameter

In a flat straigth hit 125 easily...

With a passsenger and in flat with some clear road goes to 131

In a medium descent it goes to the fuel cut in 5th: 136@6700rpm...
Thats how fast it gets without messing with the electronics.

Just got sick of speeding... 160 miles at a crusing speed between 115-135mph...
I don't know how much gas... but it burned about 1 liter of oil lease:

03 lx auto top speed is 113-114 it cuts off bc of the governer but it was only at like 5k rpm (redline is like high 6's i think)
