MX-6 Ow3d me !!

I was not expecting to win or anything but i said what the hell lets have fun. My friend (a chick) asked me if I wanted to race. I said yes and thought she was joking. Then after school she was there waiting for me. I was like wtf. So went on a road that know uses.

I was like a fender ahead of her at the launch, but when I shifted to second gear I could hear was a turbo spooling up and turn my head and see her passing me by a car length. I was consistent the whole time because she started to beat me by a car length and she ended up beating me that way.

I dont know what year of that Mazda MX-6 GT but it is turbocharged and intercooled.

That day the only thing in mind was to get an SF Turbo. I just wish i had some cash to buy one. I am only like 12 miles away from Lancaster and can easily locate him when i get the money.

Sorry if it was too long but i just thought i should share my story.

I don't think he was saying MX-6's were bad *** cars...and for everyone to worship them...I think it was more of a "wow..I didn't expect that" kind of thing

MX-6's are not bad cars. One of my friends used to own one, but he crashed it. Now he's driving an rx8. Big difference.

go do some research on why the auto wrx is more like the wrc car than the standard wrx.

You must have raced the 1st generation MX-6, those boxy ones... I think it was a 2.2L turbo. Dont be surprised that you lost to one though.... boost!

There's a box style car (think it was a mr2? couldnt tell) i noticed a couple days ago. Had twin turbo stickers on the side. dunno what that was all about.

The 1st Gen MR-2's were supercharged, not turbo charged. Only the 2nd gen MR's came turbo.

A auto wrx may be better for wrc(mabe) but a manual is def better for drag. i have a friend with a auto wrx and two friends with manauls. The the auto wrx downright lags compared to manaul and isnt neraly as fast *** ( rsx-s feels faster) . My friends with the maunals both of witch i have driven are much faster than the auto. One of them is stock and the other is my good friends with runs 12's and puts down 280hp to the wheels(nice fast car-very fun to drive).
