Autocross Ocala National Raceway My car is still slow as hell in a straight line however......
Our Univ. of Florida Motorsports club held an autocross/road racing event at Ocala National Raceway. My friend and I co-drove my civic and after putting some azenis on it we managed to take the best time of the day for FWD cars......
We also pulled better times then one of our supras

Best time of the day was a 59.4 and our best time was a 103.54
The best time was taken by a highly modified boosted 240sx

bad *** dude! Horsepower aint everything! My crowning achevement was out running a DeTomaso Pantera! 
of course thats not saying much, cause alot of people out ran that pantera that day.
I also like racing with the corvette and porsche clubs......
alot of owners of those cars think that they are unbeatable just becasue they drive a fast car.... when they still dont konw how to drive them.

Rep Power: 0 The quickest I ran was a 49.841. It was fun. Even beating a whole bunch of mustangs, firebirds, cameros, etc. There were about 60 or so novice drivers there. The most the club had ever had out there.

Rep Power: 380 They can be set up to be.... and driven to be very fast in autocross.
just about the same thing can be said about Corvettes, and they are one of the most popular cars for autocross.
