burning tires w/ whining sound

i went to burn my tires and when i did it there was a whining sound inside of the car. it sounded like it came from something under the dash. it wasn't loud but it did increase when i increased the throttle. anyways i was wondering if any of u guys knew what it was.

p.s i was on stock tires

i do have an amp and maybe it is coming from it. but i don't have any engine noise come from it during driving. the whining sounds very similar to engine noise. would burning tires cause engine noise to leak in.

well.. is it an automatic? cause thats usually the torque converter spinning up...
