Let's talk about Motorports for a second...
In 1995, Audi started a revolution when the A4 took the World Touring Car Championship. In 1996, Audi A4 was again the car to beat in the German Super Touring Car Championship (STW).
But in 1997, BMW proved the world that Audi could be beaten when they won the 1997 STW Constructors Championship. Venezuelan, Johnny Cecotto, was the man responsible for BMW's sudden success and reinstatement as Touring Car supremo.
