Houston area has 65 everywhere but it was 55 before that, and before that it was 70.

I had a 96 in a 70 before they changed it. Then I had a 92 in a 55, got lucky on that one but that was when I had my 300ZX.

Haven't gotten a ticket ever since.

That ticket would probably be around $150, but that's based on Atlanta fines, don't know about your location. My brother's ticket is $200, he got pulled doing 80 in a 55. That was I-75.

Yeah, it was on I-85, the state troopers here suck, capped a hill and let off the gas (never saw him) me and a friend were racing (he has a 99 vic), I was at 100 there for a second, but I slowed going over the hill. The Blues came on and my friend was so freaked out that he hit the gas and took off...and of course the patsy pulled me over. 18 over isn't that bad, you're right, but 15+ over is considered reckless driving around here, luckily he didn't call me on that one though.

On the interstate it's like 60 in the City limits here, then it jumps up to 65 on the outskirts, then eventually when you are cruising in the open road outside everything it jumps up to 75.

But, I've been pulled doing 66 in a 45. Which was crap because in Nebraska they have brackets of severity. 20 over would have been in the lower bracket, but 21 over moved me into the next teir. Which is stupid. . Anways. . the bracket I was in was $200 plus a $32 court and processing fee, so $232. however, it was my first offense, so I got out of it by taking a class on defensive driving. . So it's all good.

shouldn't have paid anything (if you did)...you shouldn't be ticketed unless you going at least 3-5+ mph allowing for human error on speedos, equipment etc etc...at least thas what iv'e been taught.

i got caught doin 15 over in la but i talked him down to a $25 seat beat ticket even though i had it on and got caught doin 15 over in tx as well. now i just drive 10 over. lesson learned
