This is about a run in I had with some Beater BMW that had one of those DMV permits in the back window.:

So this is how it happened:

Me and a friend of mine were leaving this arcade. We were walking to my car when we hear tire screeches and like we usually do, we look up at the street and see this beater BMW with 2 young guys squeal the tires when they enter the parking lot. Speed thru the parking lot and squeal the tires before getting a parking spot. Me and my friend were like "Hardcore". So we get in my car and drive by them to the other exit. I do one lil crappy rev and just keep going. We booty call whistle some girls and we exit.

Im at this light which is on the other side of an empty lot from the arcade/bowling alley. I hear some tires screaching and the beater BMW pulls up next to me. The young kid didnt look over at us, he just blasted some music in spanish. My friend wanted to bust out some "race" song from a megaphone we had in the car. I told him not to. This is a 2 lane turn lane we were in and the turn is a lil ackward. The kid in the BMW takes off from the turn as i go like normal. The kid cuts over into my lane and then gets back over to the right lane he was in. He is ahead of me in the other lane and he turns on his emergencies.

Me and my friend were like WTF? haha. He then got over into the innder turn lane bc he was gonna do a u turn. So I pull up next to the guy 2 lanes over and as I do, the guy keeps rollin back and forth chirping his tires each time. We just stared at the guy laughing at him doin this as he looked all serious. His light turned green and he chirped his tires again so then My friend said "You're Hardcore" in the megaphone as the guy turned at the light and after the u turn he chirped his tires again and sped off down the other way.

haha Id think if he wanted to 'race' he'd actually try something at a light that goes straight. What made this pretty funny to me and my friend was that the kid looked totally serious. NO laugh, no smile, no nothin.

lol thats good stuff! lol Before I say this I'm dating a mexican chick and love her to death!! but... lol Some Mexicans shouldnt drive. lol We were in mexico last weekend and we were getting ready to go eat and kept seeing all these beater ricers for life kind cars. I mean wings bigger than the hood higher than the roof (no joke) so we were thinking is this a new trend ?? then as we were leaving about 2 blocks down we see all of them parked in this dirty lot between a couple buildings. a couple had their hoods up and they were revving and stuff. lol I wish I had my camera on me cause it woulda been funny..

Then to top that yesterday we see this beat to hell green like 95 civic dx full of mexicans musta been 6 in there the tires were like stressing and everything. lol had all these vinyl stickers all over that said like got turbo?, import 2ner, Injen AEM.... etc.... , I stop next to him at the light and they like start reving at me and they were all lookin out the windows and pointing. lol So at the light I go normal and they sounded like a mower from hell he was def trying and couldn't even hit 50 mph lol it was freakin funniest thing I ever saw. plus he looked like 1 of the cars we saw in mexico. It might be the same person. lol

lol ya thats funny stuff. When I rev on people I just do it to be dumb. I rarely try racing but I just go like normal and watch the other car speed off or peelout at the light. Its funny when some 92 accord lx with a shitty exhaust with alum wing, fart can, apc stickers, and lowered is next to u. You rev, he gets behind you and rides ur ***. Next light, he revs like 7 times and at the light he takes off.

All these run-ins I have with people and what not, I do it all in good fun. I just laugh everytime I do it and hopefully the person next to me thinks in a lil funny as well and doesnt take it too serious.

I(a Mexican by the way) live in a Central American hood(Koreatown). And it seems that a lot of Salvadorians are rice maniacs. The funny thing is that a lot of the cars are late model(mid to late 80's) imports with ridiculous stickers and gigantic wings____of course, the required gigantic noisy mufflers are very prominent too.

I don't really travel to East L.A.(or other Mexican areas), so I don't really know about the Mexican ricer scene. But i'm pretty sure that it is as ridiculous as any ricer scene should be!

I ran into a 92 Ford Escort driving down Highway 100 here in Milwaukee (I was actually going somewhere, not just crusing). This thing was tricked out to the max! He had a double decker spoiler that started about a foot off the trunk and ended up being as tall as the roof, and of course it was painted to match 50 percent of the rest of the car, all in PRIMER GRAY! And to top it off, he has 4, count em, 4 different emergency tires on his car. Although, he did have the Type-R sticker on his window that has been rumored to add 30 percent horsepower to the wheels, and the nice Chineese Escort Racing vynal windshield banner. The funniest part of all though was I was laughing so hard when I saw it, he beat me off the line HAHA

You can get the megaphone I have from Radio Shack. It was like 40 bucks i think. PLays parts of songs but its pretty cool to have. Good way to get ricers attention.
