raced a focus SVT (not what i expected)
i got a friend he got a focus SVT so we were coming back from a club, i never tryed to race him i tought i was gonna get wooped big time...but this day we stoped at a red signal and he was pressing the accelerator making the vurrhhhmm.. and i was like what the hell ima race him.....for the 1,2,3 i took him for 1 car after he shift to 4,5 he gain speed and he passed me.....dude i tought that SVT was much faster...SVT SUCKS....a 180hp against a 120hp and i almost took him.....i say that car has only final gear!!......btw it was fun..lol
Cobra has 20 and Lightning gets around 17.
Compared to 30 on the civic. I'll take the extra 4 seconds on the quarter mile
.
btw dont tell me "I get 59999 mpg in my civc" I got by what the car is listed on, because that is frankly the best estimate of mpg. Not the fact that you say you can get 40 mpg while rolling your car down a hill with it off :P.

The high-performance Focus.
Listed below are a few of the key features included on both the 3 and 5-door Focus SVT:
170-hp 2.OL 16-valve DOHC Zetec engine with close-ratio 6-speed Getrag transaxle
Unique 17-inch wheels with performance-tuned suspension and brakes
Custom SVT styling cues inside and out
Wieghs 2,593 lbs. (3-door), 2,675 (5-door)
that the focus
now for the civic
Wieghs 2597 / 2657
you all know the rest 15 in wheels and 127 @ 114.. not much of a difference unless the transmission in the focus is really gear wrong

Seriously. Its blatantly outfitted with a better engine and suspension, but people will constatly say "its just a Ford". Well, I'd die for a euro rally version. The Focus is not a bad car for the price.
iveraced a SVT focus in my Si and barely pulled it because i had a excellent launch they aretn as fast as the could be with some better tires pput better tires on one of those svt's and its gonna be a bad a** car

many of you may already know this , so sorry for the redundant reply if thats the case, but for those that dont know, Zetec is just the name of the engine, like we have D17, K20, etc. Zetec isnt fords version of VTEC, or VVT-i, just incase anyone was wondering
